  1. Treequip, the lorry's a 18 tonner. Cheers
  2. I've seen keruing for sale as lorry beds but it works out expensive. I think that's what's on there at the moment. I'm swaying towards some sort of ply and a top cover of steel. Mainly for easy of replacement. I'm running out of time for maintenance...
  3. Cheers John I'll look at that. I'll also take some photos for you tomorrow of it in action. Cheers Mark
  4. Just found it. You're right not cheap 😀😀😀
  5. Thanks Scaggs where do you get that from? I think I'd need 4 x4 sheets. If its good stuff it'd be worth the money.
  6. The bed on my lorry has developed some holes (quite large ones) thanks the abuse it gets doing tree work. I obviously need to replace it asap, what's the best material? I was thinking of using shuttering ply or trailer board but not sure it'll be strong enough... Perhaps cover in sheet metal? Cheers Mark
  7. I guess I'll have to see what Redwood say. I don't to do the thing!
  8. So both the tw and first can be lifted from a single point on the top ? I thought that was for moving the posts during manufacture, of would be great if I'm wrong😁😁, so much easier than mucking about slinging under the tracks.
  9. I'm about to buy a tracked chipper (Jensen 540) and was wondering what the best way to lift them with a hiab is? I'm assuming that lifting eyes are for component parts not lifting the whole machine. I have been advised to five the chipper over a couple of slings then lift it, but there's no means of stopping the chipper sloping either forwards out backwards. Any thoughts or experience? Cheers Mark

  16. Cheers. Hr consultant it is then.
  17. Hi all, I'm about to take on my first full time staff (been using subbies). Did anyone have a draft contract I could use as a basis for my employment contract etc. Also any advice as I've never had to employ anyone before being ex-army, what are the dos and don'ts? I know the bloke he's been working with me fire quote a long time so I'm happy with how he works etc... Cheers Mark

  22. Not sure if chance it tbh - I don't think you'd be free from any fault should they be trying it on. Speak to the TO, sound a bit dodge not having anything on the council website.
  23. There's an ag trailer with hiab on eBay. Sounds like what you're after. Can't get a link on this tablet.😤
