  1. A big thanks to all those for their advice and time. Top one:) Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  2. I got it ti bits apart from removing the pump ok. I cleaned with petrol and an air line and the ran it. It pumped a couple of times then stopped. So i think it probably easier just to replace the system - the pipe is starting to break down and has lost some of it flexibility so i expect the pump wont last much longer anyway. What are your thoughts on this course of action? Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Rover, cheers. Nice and simple. Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  4. OK at risk of sounding daft hoe do you get the oil pump out (ms180 i can see it but not sure how to get it out)! Cheers Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Rich, Thanks, I'll check that as well, might as well do it properly the saw is old, but it's a good 'un. Nice and light, ideal for hedges and light ground work.
  6. Cheers, I'll strip it down and check it out. If it needs replacing i will let you know. I assume that you need to remove the handle to get access -either way sounds simples enough. Mark
  7. Hi, Conny bashing today has taken its toll on my kit today - 2 pull cords to replace (nice and easy) and the oiler has packed up on my little MS180. I was going to replace the sprocket and needle bearings so though i may as well change th pump, i have flushed out the oil tank and outlet and it seemed to oil fot abit but block as again. I haven't changed a oil pump before, so here is the questions, is it pretty obvious once you get the sprocket off? And where is the best place to buy a replacement pump from. Cheers in advance. Mark
  8. Puzzlewood is a short walk from Clearwell. Lydney Park is good if its open. Otherwise many of the FC car parks set you off in a good place, try New Fancy Cannop or Mallards Pike. Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  9. Tommer when you fixed your H14 did you replace the seals? If so where do you recommend getting them from. Cheers Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Cheers, I'm sold. I am going to order the same one that Base got and a second camera. I will put one under the chip box for connecting up the chipper and trailer and get another camera and mounti it on the roof of the chip box, so ic an see the bits fall off as i drive away.
  11. I'm going down this route, as my chip box is so big i can't see the chipper when towing and i like the idea of seeing the ball hitch for connecting up first thing on my own. If you get a kit with 2 cameras, can you mount on looking at the tow bar and one of the top of the chip box? I assume so but not sure, anyone done the same. Cheers Mark
  12. Hi, i'm a bit ahead if you on this and things are going OK running my own company. If you want a chat PM me with a number. You may get a few negative comments on here, take it for what its worth. They don't know you and you don't them and so on... But experienced shouldn't be ignored. To be honest as you say the weather is not a problem at least you get home at the end of the day - no shivering in a bivibag wondering how long before you pass out:). It is the business side you need to focus on. Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Cheers for the replies. I'm in Launceston next week painting my LR at my father in laws. So i'll drop into Tavi with it. I think welding it up looks the way forward. Tommer, did you have any dramas? Is there anything else worth doing while it is apart? Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  14. I have a H14w that to fit to my LR. However, the free spool lever has broken off the shaft. The lever differs from the mannual in that it is at the rear offside of the winch (I assume a spec biuld for a utilities company). My questions are: 1. If I try and weld it in place will it bugger the winch (probably is my guess)? 2. Anyone know of a good dealer to try and get a replacement part? 3. Are they easy to work on, strip and assemble? Thanks in advanced. I can post photos for clarity if required. Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2

    hedge laying

Hi Hedgesparrow, Where abouts are you? And what do you charge for stakes and fir binders? it may be worth a trip or couriering some up. I'll speak to Jamie as we have joined forces to find them. Cheers Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  24. Ok, it's time to replace my series for a more modern truck. I would like a 130 tipper, but they are hard to find at the right price. So i have few questions for those with experience: 1. Does anyone use a 110 single cab tipper? If so what volume does it hold and is it 3500kg (which 110s are)? 2. What volume can you get it a 130 crew cab? 3. Finally, what volume can you get in a 130 single cab? I don't mind converting to a tipper if required, but i need a 4x4 and cant think of any alternatives (less RB 44 and i don't want the expense/ hassle with an O licence just now)... Cheers in advance for any replies. Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
