  1. That's awesome, I mega impressed how long does each one take?
  2. How much do you want for the wheels and where are (can't see on my phone). Cheers Mark
  3. Hit the nail on head. That's what I want (ur Danequip not the Rayco)! Sounds awesome, it just about the money now.
  4. Hi, I'm still looking for a grinder (really finding hiring a pita), I have a bit more money now. Looking for 13/20hp machine, on my side of the country. Thought I found a good one but it was just too far away. Also does anyone know much about 'Ram Stump grinders'? I've got my eye on one, but am unsure if I should deviate from the larger names... Cheers in advance.
  5. Mathew, had you had a go sharpening your rollers yet? I need to do mine on my Tp200 mobile. Like the other guys have said I get my service parts from a motor factors to save money. I think I will get pattern knives as well soon. Not surprised OEM parts are expensive as they don't wear out very quickly, I reckon mine would survive an H bomb! Bit heavy though Cheers Mark

Haven't read the whole paper, but apparently Lorenzo was suffering from a lack of grip. Sounds a bit weak to me, I'll be interested to see how he get son next week.

T'was a good race Marquez looked good and learnt quickly. Not a lot to say about Crutchlow apart from awesome . Has anyone heard what happened to Lorenzo? Once passed he just went backwards!
  8. Mine is about £450ish for a 130 tipper with me only as the driver, 1 sp 30 4 years ago. 6 years ncb. Hard to compare though tbh.
  9. Toprotter, Already ordered a pair from the dreaded 'bay. Cheers Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Thanks that has saved a load of internerd time:) I assume you mean from mid 80s onwards. Thanks again. Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  11. Evening all, after a less than great day and following a row with the mrs:rolleyes: I have been caught out by my reversing braille:banghead:. So does anybody know where I can get a new lense (phot below hopefully) from? Not sure if it's a oem part or not, any leads that reduce my search would be cool. Cheers Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Cheers, I call him on monday i think. Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Hi I'm about to service my tp 200 chipper. It has a really useful service guide sticker on it that tells me everything apart for the quantity and grade of engine oil (Haz 3 cylinder aircooled). Will 10w 40 or 15w 40 deisel oil.be ok? I was just going to put in about 4 litres and check the level. - any.advice or thoughts! Cheers:thumbup: Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  14. I agree start small and see how it goes. That being said my first chipper was a Tp 200 (could afford a smaller one) Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Cheers, saw that just what i want. Need to save a few more pennies though:rolleyes: Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  16. That's one of my options. A mate of mine has just got one if their power barrows, looks like a good bit of kit. I expect their prices will start to rise soon. Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  17. GG, cheers sounds like good advice. Just waiting now for one to come up. Nothing ever seems to be for sale when I'm buying - i've seen loads in feb and mar...:) Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  18. Rupe, cheers. I thought the teeth might well be hard work to change! Silky, PM box emptied:) Mark Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  19. Ack, That make sense to me and my wallet! But there are some pretty awesome machines out there, with process to match:thumbup:
  20. Thanks for all the replies, really good stuff. I think in summary, small is cheaper and handy for tight access and lifting etc, but larger (20hp ish) costs more but doesn't seem to loose out too much on width and will be physically easier to use and more capable. And then there is much bigger (perhaps in the future, I've only been trading 3 months)! Stupid question time: What are 'Yellow Jacket' teeth and why are they better? Hi Rupe, Hope every thing is going well with you, I'm starting to get busier following 4 weeks off after corrective surgery for a cocked up hernia op:thumbdown: I have some stumps lined up and quite a few coming in. I looked at hiring something, but, I reckon I would struggle to make any money as they are either expensive to hire or a bit crappy. I've just sold my old Land Rover so have a bit of cash. Beginning to think that saving for 20hp'ish' machine is the way to go, giving the best balance between performance and size...
  21. Pardon:D... I hear what your saying and get the logic, just a bit uncomfortable with borrowing the money atm. May consider delaying the purchase until i have more money though. Lots to think about:) Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  22. That's pretty much the impression I'm getting. Engine aside, is there any particular I should be looking at before hand over cash?
  23. Evening all, I would like some advice from the wealth of experience here on Arbtalk. I am planning on getting my first stump grinder and don't know too much about them. I am after a pedestrian grinder most likely a Rayco RG13 - as that's the one I have heard the most about without too much bad stuff, following a mammoth Arbtalk session. So in short, what other options are there? From what I can gather the Danequip one's look just the job, but may be beyond my limited budget (probably about£1500 or so). So what's good, what's not and what sort of price is about right for consumables (teeth, belts etc)? Oh, and what should I be looking for when I finally find one, although having seen a few on ebay - they all seem to have disappeared now i'm ready to buy:blushing: Cheers Mark
  24. Nice work; how long did that take? I love those fodens:beer: Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
  25. Wow thats going to be some task. Hope get it. Sent from my GT-S5690 using Tapatalk 2
