  3. i was looking at the tp range of pto chippers , they have some with grabs and probably half the price of that chiper at 75k !!!

  13. i bought the bar ,chain and sprocket from my local stihl dealer so basikly it fitted strsit on to the saw

  15. it has to be a thong made solely from the starter cord from my old ms200 , as for bobs comment i will be hanginh on like an mp at the fore front of an expenses row !!!
  16. hiya i recently decided to put a carving bar on my spare ms200 to see what it was like to use in the tree , however it did mean changing the sproket ! after now using if for a few weks i find im using it for very pruning job i do weather its a crown lift , dead wood or crown reduction . i was just wondering if anyone elts has given it a go ???
  17. bob your such a comedian . think what you like chap but your really starting to sound like one hell of a biter old fool , i have the up most respect for 99.9% of the people on here and am willing to take on board other peoples ideas and points of view and give praise where praise is due . maybe you should think before making such coments in future .
  18. what was the reason for its previous reduction ??? personally if it is in an area with a target such as a school i would look to get someone in to inspect it using Q.T.R.A i dont mean to sound like im putting you down but a little knowledge in situations like this can prove to be dangerous .
  19. it was great fun to do but also was sad that such a specimen had to be taken down , the tree dated back to around 1895 when the monterey pine was first intoduced to the british isles but im still waiting for the pictures from the groundy , if hes reading this he best get sending them to me pronto ha ha
