  1. same, college tutors moan at me for doing it saying stuff like thats not the correct way to do it bleh bleh bleh! but i find it easier, its cheaper than buying a guides, i dont use the gauge for the rakers either, free hand all the way
  2. no offense but if it goes blunt quickly thats down to your sharpening, no need to splash out on a bar mount thingy, just take your time and check your angles

  8. i'll have you know i use a sachs dolmar 153 pretty much every weekend for doing exactly what im doing in that picture with the stihl... cutting down big butts to get them on the band saw
  9. im doing ND Forestry and i need to do 240 hours work experience, i get paid £5 an hour which works out about £40 a day normally, so in the same boat, im doing what i love though so im not complaining at all, some people work for free to get there 240 hours.

  16. im a young 'un!!! i have propper sandwiches none of that tea or coffee crap thooo, bottle of orange squash, its weird i always used to drink tea when i was a very young 'un but cant stand the stuff now, unless it has like 9 sugars in it lol

  19. you can, it is possible, but i've been told not to, we burn it all the time in our woodburner but thats in the shed outside so bit different

  21. bloody brilliant saw bench imo, college has one and it works really well for firewood and for ripping stuff, very tempted to place a bid!
