  16. haha yeah all the oaks we have been milling for this farm were felled from hedge rows, so its expected. All this is for a barn convertion, we've done most of it already and most of its in place, all this was for the staircase. Yeahh still learning how to use this mill really, but its going bloody brilliant! hahaa i could name a fair few things i would waat i wear chainsaw trousers all the time, but my granddad doesnt and never will, hes stuborn like that lol

  18. hahaa yeah well when i first started using saws with him, i had a file gauge from college and he started moaning at me saying you'll have to learn how to do it free hand someday, so i did haha yeah hes always telling me bout how chains never used to be like they are today Think there some of this in our shed, i'll have a look some time
  19. same, college tutors moan at me for doing it saying stuff like thats not the correct way to do it bleh bleh bleh! but i find it easier, its cheaper than buying a guides, i dont use the gauge for the rakers either, free hand all the way
  20. no offense but if it goes blunt quickly thats down to your sharpening, no need to splash out on a bar mount thingy, just take your time and check your angles
