  5. Can't see the problem myself, I would have thought 2 flues better than one, a hot flue is a clean flue!! Prob just made up regs so you have to have an expensive twin wall flue fitted!!

  18. Yep made up my mind, def going for another pair of Tirols, after five years and a re-tread they are only just becoming bin fodder!
  19. Good Post Agreed, take a look and see what grows naturally in the local area and go with that, help and encourage natural re-gen by re-spacing which will produce a small amount of firewood. I would also choose to favor a species that will coppice well and produce firewood poles on a 10-15 year rotation and perhaps pick a few stems to promote into standards for a higher return for the long term.

  23. Every quid makes a difference, even an extra £5 per day could equate to £1200 per year.
  24. Our contract was with Northern Electric and at the time we were the first arborists to be trained for the installation of the earthing kit, I quite fancy the idea of obtaining the relevant units. The work was enjoyable walking in some fantastic remote places on the North York Moors, some of the managers even managed a helicopter ride or two for high speed surveying!!
