  1. Now I know you are a trolling tree legend! 😂
  2. This is rambling nonsense of someone who clearly hasn’t a clue what he is doing in the tree world and your video is proof.
  3. Oh your definitely the first to try that 😂
  4. Proper job Gray Git!!
  5. It’s not central belt prices up here I’m afraid ? got the root out last night, going back this morning to clear the rest of the arising and then tidy up with the machine.
  6. Aye a poplar, when I quoted as I walked in the drive my head said Sycamore, then as I got closer I thought, is it a huge hawthorn, then as I saw the buds I realised what it was. Never seen 1 like it before. 90% rot at the base.
  7. No a companies I’m subbing to on a larger contract. I get to play in it all day and every time something doesn’t work I get to pass that headache onto the owner?. It’s a cracking tool, just needs time in the workshop to iron out some gremlins.
  8. £1400 for hydraulic thumb.
  9. Twin 2 way aux, hyd thumb and counter weight. I'll see how I get in with the Bobcat. keeping the CAT I love that digger ?
  10. I've ordered this, few extras and I'll get it in February. good finance deals and very quick responses from the dealer which I like
  11. A 3 tonner will shove 1 on the hard no bother, rolling it on round posts even better, if grounds sift runs scaffold planks down first
  12. Buy direct from AUS, you will get it at what the dealers do. No matter what size the order.
  13. About 2" difference I reckon ? those middle strands can ruin your day!! been there!!
  14. You can go at it like a beaver if you are keen! The engine casing gets in the way so you can cut blocks out to get the saw in further if you want to go full Axe men!
  15. They'll grow back!! legend ?
  16. Like any business, if you are good you are busy.
  17. Cant go wrong with a botex and Wilson’s service and back up is great.
  18. That's stunning! I know guys that could help, Graham is on here. Based in Inverness. pm me for his number if you want to try him
  19. Just another day at the office!
  20. As I said, move it if you don't mind some scuffs. Not easy but you'll shift it. 4 of us stood them upright in a work shop, nearly killed us but we managed. they were only about 3' wide the full length. Think about 4"-5". I'll find some pics. obviously used machinery when we could. I've worked with guys who could man handle that kind of stuff themselves, different breed millers!!
  21. You'd be amazed how strong a 3" board is at that length, it's not going to break. 2 guys will move it if you don't mind some scuffs, 4 strong lads no bother. find a local guy with a big Alaskan then just call up your local tree guys and fish out a dead stick from the log pile. or do what I did, bought the big Alaskan, took down 1 of the customers trees and milled that. Job done !
