  1. Great to see the supports in place, cracking tree:)
  2. Where are you? I've got an old tatty but secure 1 for not much. Pm if interested.
  3. Depends what your taking to the party. If its a grands worth of tools and a little van then £20 an hour will tick the box for some folk but financially you would be better off at £7.50 an hour on the hooks strimming somewhere . 2 men, pick up, trailer, scagg/ ride on plus insurances, fuel and the most important parts, skills and experience then if your not taking home minimum £500 a day then your just going to have a life of finance and no money imo.
  4. 1.5 ton would be a waste of time, all you would get on it is a steel hiab and little winch, out put would be painfull imo. Do you have a woodland? Is it the same site all the time? There is a holder on Arbtrader that used to belong to me, it's built for the job if you want to drag out in lenghts. Personally I'd rather lift it and keep it clean, depending on what timber you have, site and budget, will depend on the kit. Best machine I've ever had is a 5ton tracked dumper with timber crane on it, it was emense at getting stuff out quick and easily no matter the terrain.
  5. I know the switch, cheers Huck
  6. Looks like a chocolate fire guard to me!
  7. I'll wait!
  8. I thought they were just work lights and wasn't sure if they would pass for rd lights:confused1: Wow I forgot how nice that Mog was!!
  9. Any pics of the Krpan?
  10. Have any of you guys put lights on the chipper, not just indicators and reflectors, but actual headlights, I have seen it somewhere. With the ducker on the front, my driver side headlight can't be seen, not ideal.

  22. I've always liked the u140, cheap as chips and look like they drive more like a van but I've never heard good press about them. How's she been for you .
  23. I think you'll find it's Johns Valmet now:biggrin:
  24. No you drive a digger and think the above, the question is about tree climbing, you don't climb trees, so as Steve mentioned, your opinion isn't valid . Put a vid up of your skills on your old digger and I'll show a few of my mates who are operators and they can see if you are any good or not.
