  1. So it's your fault:001_rolleyes:
  2. 14.1 ton.
  3. Mechanic is wrong, I've never ran my TP's at 240, and never had a blocked chute! You want to create draft.
  4. I find it's sparse open big trees , that are 2 or more stems that you may need a redirect, which I find is best to just climb off 2 lines. I can get away with using my side strop on most long limbs say on oak or beech , and clip my 2 lines through a carabiner, or use my climbing line . Throw a loop through where you want to go, lasso it back to you and pull with 1 arm and release your hitch with the other or to be honest, thump a bigger bit off than first planned:biggrin:
  5. 1000 speed only, if the rollers are going crazy fast( might just seem that way to you) slow them down with flow control .
  6. Or between 2 trees planted close together:001_rolleyes:
  7. Its got good grip to say the least:biggrin:
  8. It must be millions of pounds of stuff somewhere!!!! Sickening to say the least!!
  9. We stuff is easier to spike but harder to balance, bigger stuff is harder to keep them in as your feet will be splayed more. Your going to slip, your going to get sore hips and scuffed knuckles! Enjoy:biggrin:
  10. Pics or we don't believe you.
  11. What did you hit?
  12. Brilliant!!
  13. I stripped a larch tree behind my house expecting to be a pole racing ninja!! After a few terrifying gaff outs at about 20' I learnt to just calm it and take it easy, pole climbings for the APF with a Belay! You have to program your brain walk on your ankles, not your feet. Takes time!
  14. Practice practice practice!!!
  15. It had it, just didn't really need it very much!! I sold it by chipping 1, 15' length of dead sycamore that just fitted in the rollers. The guy just turned round and said ' I'll take it!!'
  16. No mate,I had that chipper about 4 years ago. I just thought it would be a great set up.
  17. I had that plan as well Eddie, I had a bandit 250, it was emmense!!! You could drop a tree on it and it would be ok! This is a 12-14" dead elm with a metre of ivy round it [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGvQSIPDN50&feature=youtube_gdata_player]little gloria - YouTube[/ame]
  18. Gidoooooosh!!!!! I thought you were guiding a lorry back:lol: Cracking fell:thumbup1:
  19. What a stunning building and location? Where exactly is it?
  20. Unlucky darts for getting that job!!
  21. Eeee gadz!!!!!!!!!
  22. Very nice,
  23. Something like this Eddie Valmet 830.3 Road rail forwarder,Vegetation- QTS Plant
  24. Nice tidy job, an angled roof will give you so much more capacity and less spillage.
  25. Great pics, more of the truck chipper please:001_smile:
