  1. I did the chain thing years ago, man what a boring task, and I wasn't very good at it, a few broke or they were to stiff at the rivet. I ended up missing going to the saw shop for a chat and a nosey about. A chain on a top handle will last me a year, 026's 6 months and maybe a few for the 46 so not worth the hassle for me.
  2. That's impressive! I'm similar to you in the climbing front, if anything it's spikes and a dismantle or conny topping, so to real climbing. I've done no real training for 2 years, so started back at the gym on Sunday, just following a program off an App. Mainly trying to put on some muscle and get my cardio up, I'm 40 in 2 years and want to be ready for it! I was 84.7kg on sunday and I'm 82.1 kg tonight. I stopped the morning huge breakers and take a healthy lunch with me and stopped my crisps at night. I was always good at pull ups and dips. I was gutted when I could only do 3 sets of 5(front grip) and 3 sets of 10 dips. I'm going to do this until Christmas and then do a month of kettle bells in the new year.
  3. Never put kit in your tree pics, they always steal the show!! Nice fell but cracking truck!
  4. If its the relays I'm sure the old sierra ones fitted the TW.
  5. Maybe the answer to the thread title is, " most but not all "
  6. There are so many variables that will influence a pricing decision. Personally I've always made good money since the day I started self employment.
  7. Don't know, came on a pallet from a c price.
  8. Bag it up and sell to farmers and butchers also if you packaged it right then great for smoking food. Sell it on the Internet.
  9. I like that, it looks like an Amadillo:biggrin:
  10. Hope your other toes are ok Robert:lol:
  11. You have no idea why this went the way it was, the resentment in you will obviously pick the most unjust way against you. Maybe she fell I'll, maybe her grand daughter came to visit and brought her bored tree surgeon boy friend, who thought " sweet ill fell the trees rather than be bored out my head indoors " Learn from it and move on.
  12. No tree should do that to gaffs imo, I've climbed lightning damaged trees and they weren't any harder than ded elms. I would send them to the manufacturers to inspect.
  13. This will end badly unless you draw up a contract, even then I still think it will go sour. You are now in competition with him. What if he is thinking you won't take his work since he used to employ you, or because you dump chip. Dumping chip and logs is no biggy, they are both worth money and yoummust know some local sites and assuming you can use his kit when yours is broken isn't a wise idea.
  14. Is it definitely in 1000 speed? My old Mogs rev counter didn't work, I just did it by ear. Once the new bigger engine was fitted it was a diferent machine. Keep an eye out for a bigger newer engine would be my advice.
  15. I get itchy feet, that's the first sign!
