    4 tracks 40 m long , the pipe is in coils, it's not here yet but I reckon there will be a fare length if you straightened it out

    Machine isn't doing any tree work yet, but you are right guarding is needed if I get a grab or shear. Machines been busy working locally on a ground source hear system

    Websites great for doing a lot of pricing, if you want jobs then I feel Facebook is the new word of mouth. I am rural so maybe diferent if you are in a city.

    Used them once about 15 years ago, pointless advertising right next to a few pages of your competition , Facebook is the way forward, set up a free page and away you go

    Bob depending on kit and how much i had made that week would depend on my price and if i really wanted the job. They could be felled up the drive, lifted out with a tractor and put into a monster high sided trailer and then tipped out in a corner and dealt with on bonfire night. So as little as £350 to cover ninja farmer and me with a saw doing minimum fells and maybe a few undercuts to squeeze trailer down. Or as much as £3k and sub it out to the TW/Transit brigade who could lower it all to the deck, look good in all their fancy new bling from the Catalogue and get them to do it for £700 and i could sit back and watch from the cafe. The variables are huge, or maybe its a trick question because its bird nesting time as we all hang up our saws for 6 months, unless we do utility, that doesnt count, you can spike all day and wreck nests all night and thats all ok in the eyes of the tree police!

    Nitrax boots Steve, comfiest coolest boots ever made, i tripped and spiked mine within a few weeks, gutted!!! That hedge was amazing! Huge cedar was it you were up? i usually just take pics of them with my phone to get them on here.

    These guys are just hungrier and harder working than you, simples! £200 is better than nothing, there are going to be weeks on end you are not going to make any money, months perhaps, maybe even a year and come the end of it, not made a profit. This is self employment. The time you are sitting here moaning you could be dragging brash through a conservatory .

    If the ram is put in the hole nearer the machine then you loose a bit of reach but gain a lot close in I was told today. Machine is working on its first job this week.

    My grab is rated for between 2.5-8 ton machines . I would ask Exac-1first though.

    On steel mate. The 3 toner is like a bucking bronco compared to a 7. Eddie is there an adapter I can get so I can use the attachments on the 7? Without changing pins.

    Mathew its a 2007, only gadget i am hopefully going to get for it is a tiliting grading bucket, hopefully get more gdgets as money or jobs allow. i never thought to take a picture yesterday
