  1. Me it was. There are crap, ok and good oils. There is only one best oil tho as per above. Red Line Synthetic Oil - Two-Stroke Oils - Two-Stroke Racing Oil
  2. Refreshing. I was thinking here goes the 106,547th thread recommending Stihl and Husqvarna. The only 2 makes of decent saw apparently :001_rolleyes:
  3. "Stihl all the way, husky xp the best..." What a load of rubbish. Learn to interpret JASO spec's and basestock types. It's like S & H are the only products on the planet.
  4. What's popular?
  5. economically well but everything else bankrupt :001_rolleyes:
  6. They bring in tons more than they cost the taxpaper. Not what reblicans love to hear or they want anyone else to hear for that matter.
  7. Can you not get an aftermarket pot and piston and fit it yourself? It's an easy job.
  8. As above 9 ton from fuelwood or infamous A11 from Balfor / Riko. Thor is good gear as is Posch. Budget and tonnage required tho ???
  9. 2) We're not, they're paying for themselves in net terms. A republic is not as rosy as you'd like to think
  10. But tractors and trailers extract 0 if the ground is bad. Stroke head would be fine in those volumes sure but boy cost does not compare favourably when productivity matters; often a £40k roller head is only undercut by a stroke head by £5k!
  11. Recently in Scotland we went to visit a distant relative. Young single Mum with a 13 year old who only eats chips and jaffa cakes and is scared of school PE and a 6 year old with disabilities (which yes I agree warrants some assistance); not a father in sight and Mum has been a benefit claimant her whole life. Just moved into a brand new 3 bed semi purposely spacious for younger son. Air conditioning, all furnished brand new beds, sofa, white goods etc. Council tax, utilities, other benefits all paid for. Lovely property. And there's me and my Wife; both working our arses off putting atleast 60 hours a week in each and we can't afford anything like it, don't own our own home and are pretty frugal. The only "luxury" we try to afford is organic food. Haven't holidayed since 2004... We don't demand any more...
  12. Because you'll get a new one every 6 weeks under warranty
  13. Definately. The manual KRPAN (7,5t) I used was the same; squeely clutch and flippin hard work. Hydro all the way.
  14. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxvTx1IUTBQ]Lee's 2013 GTG 32 Running Sachs Dolmar 166's #3 - YouTube[/ame] [ame] [/ame] not a husky in sight in all his videos
  15. Fair play, blighty is SO far behind the USA! Every logger there has modded saws, no stock saws even exist in the woods there!
  16. Your PM box is now full samarb
  17. well I would have had the lot but this looks like more bother than it's worth right?!
  18. I bid on some clean larch standing recently; went for £25/m3 standing; national trust bought it! Or was the seller bluffing?
  19. Sell it man! £££...
  20. Would like to buy it all if poss please. Will send pm when got pc in front of me not phone thanks
  21. 6 inch board, 1" gap. Bigger gap let too much rain in?
  22. I'm sure if you ring them prior to ordering they can do another bar option? Certainly a proper Graden Machinery co will; such as Radmore & Tucker...
  23. It's definately yours. Yours is doing the opposite of what echo's have a good reputation for. Get yours fixed and then use it as a benchmark of echo per se.
  24. Garage in Plymouth: Braked, Battered, Tyred and Exhausted. !
  25. This Echo CS420ES Petrol Chainsaw Why? Price, very sweet running engines, low vibes, superb balance the 420 has the 450 crankcase so is good strong pro built, warranty blah blah blah over £150 less than a stihl ms241 also: echo quoted power outputs are typically less than in reality; worth bearing in mind.
