  1. It's definately yours. Yours is doing the opposite of what echo's have a good reputation for. Get yours fixed and then use it as a benchmark of echo per se.
  2. Garage in Plymouth: Braked, Battered, Tyred and Exhausted. !
  3. This Echo CS420ES Petrol Chainsaw Why? Price, very sweet running engines, low vibes, superb balance the 420 has the 450 crankcase so is good strong pro built, warranty blah blah blah over £150 less than a stihl ms241 also: echo quoted power outputs are typically less than in reality; worth bearing in mind.
  4. 3ft lengths?! I hope u mean 3m? Near as worthless otherwise I'm afraid.
  5. you can with a Kawasaki (imo)
  6. wasn't it just - I want to go there but don't think open to the public
  7. There was a beautiful birch collection - you gotta see the whole 30 mins on iplayer; I just tried but because it's just finished you can't watch it yet boo hoo
  8. Bit late sorry, tree prog on Great Brit Garden Revival now! Really nice! Watch it on iplayer to see all of it!
  9. not too far; put me down for twenty
  10. Radmore & Tucker exeter are an AS Motor dealer; they look fantastic but scag are better altho you don't want scag size so deffo have a look at as.
  11. emphasis on "for the money"
  12. Very interested...
  13. I would agree that the Ariens transmission is a potential weakness with the rubber tyre running on metal platter variable speed feature. Both of mine however did thousands of acres of rough slopes with the only requirement being to keep the speed adjuster mechanism torqued up so as to avoid the thing gradually speeding up while mowing. If you are a machine abuser, perhaps it won't suit you but if you like to use and maintain, then maintenance on an ariens is a piece of cake.
  14. Stihl and Husky are history for me now; many and varied reasons. Echo & Dolmar will be supplying me for the forseeable future.
  15. Ice road truckers? Fair play, that'll be dense timber.
  16. Echo. CS450 / 500 / 550
  17. Don't think the FJ review is online. I can't put the link up now bit if you search on here for a thread titled "Re: Opinions on 2012/13 hilux or ranger?" check out the safety reports compared with other pickups'
  18. Read the Forestry Journal Review of it...
  19. Engine is a poor copy of the psa xud and is an idi unit, prone to head fasket failures'. It could be good stubborn tool or a headache proving "pay cheap pay twice"
  20. Will be back but give me a week or so to find it lol
  21. I have the same machine, heavy compared to the latest models but a fine machine built to last. I might be able to dig the parts manual out and I'm sure parts are available. Mine is in A1 condition so can't offer any parts sorry. That machine is well worth getting going :-)
  22. Echo machines with the finest Kioritz engines used to specify 25:1 and I have a few. Needless to say I was glad to change to 50:1 when the oil allowed that - a whole lot less stink.
  23. I too have a couple of s/e silver sachs. 50:1 is s.o.p (irrespective of what the machine specifies) assuming you are using new 2-stroke oil, not some old mix that was new with the saw!
  24. No but Julie Andrews is one of the most beautiful women ever; inner beauty rather than only skin deep.
