  1. I was about right then:001_smile: There's money in that there chip...
  2. Dunno per tonne but 1m3 roundwood produces approx 3m3 chip I think...
  3. I know; idiots who write manuals in accordance with dumbass short-term environmental policy. Apparently a knackered engine is less net damage to the environment than 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 extra litres fuel saved over the lifetime of the lump. :banghead:
  4. If I had to produce that much firewood and had that kind of Wonga I'd be looking at a Fuelwood Transaw I think; probably not in the league of the Xylog but I'm not aware of anyone covering Lands End to Birmingham; would have thought that kind of machine would need be running double shifts, night and day.
  5. Please don't put 10W30 in that engine... CI specific 15W40 please.
  6. Very possible. 99.9% of people think it's snake oil. Ha! Let em!
  7. Sawtroll will be along imminently to tell you that they are boat anchors that handle like ten ton turkeys. What he will never accept or admit is that they have the finest Jap 2 strokes, lovely balance and good reliability. Love em. The model you refer to is of Shindaiwa origin albeit with a smaller motor from Kioritz which will doubtless run in to be an absolute peach, more than capable of port work should you so desire.
  8. There's a Ferrari inside a baobab in Madagascar
  9. Cobblers, you're a racing snake with some guns mate ooh er
  10. That there is the ultimate 2 stroke oil bar none.
  11. I can't personally testify that this is true but I heard of a complete typewriter inside an oak in Bristol...
  12. 6'6" and 17st/7lbs 12st was good when I rode 100 miles/day in my youth.
  13. [ame] [/ame]
  14. What size are they?
  15. Had two pairs of those "Oregon Greens"; still got them (somewhere). First pair were £130 (size seemed to affect price) but second pair were £90 as rapidly being replaced by newer offerings. Couldn't fault them.
  16. I know of a lewis winch where the use of poly rope instead of steel wire destroyed the drum... rope reduced in size so loads too much went on and literally packed the drum out and shattered it lengthways with the pressure between the drum ends.
  17. No liberal voter but this is one thing Nick Clegg did absolutely right: Remember?! Lib Dem Leader Nick Clegg Mp Receives Medals Returned By Gurkhas Stock Photo, Picture And Royalty Free Image. Pic. 16946786
  18. Forks and bananas been coming your way then? There is no Larch left at aveton btw.
  19. Doesn't that 'phone have a "mind-read" function? It scrambles a lot of what Jon thinks due to the noise of the Posch. Get a quieter processor Jon lol Or tractor. Crike if I had one of those phones... I need a computer to filter all my negativity out.
