  1. Perkins...many thanks for the explanation.......much easier than the manual,which defied even the brains of my 9 yr old daughter! Have always previously used eye/stick method which has been quite accurate ......but the suunto will be even accurater and provide a bit of magic for the client,(i can always source a stick off ebay for back-up).Thks!
  2. Yesterday traded pruning of honeysuckle/clematis monstrous growth for AO drawing board.........both sides happy with this arrangement......

  11. ........so, i can't help but think the guy whom is leaving,may have a valid point.....there can be a awful lot of inconsequential "chatter",with sometimes almost superfluous remarks on piesces of equipment........ .....However,that said ,there can also be a wealth of hard-won information from lots of people,especially regarding those small pices of equipment that it would be hard to find out about...... ....what makes me seethe is the constant derailing of a thread,or where the writer has copletely lost the thread of the intial piont but maybe left to have a coffee(or tea) with spelling lsso and the idea half formed in the head,maybe easier been told.......... .......however,thumbs up whoever likes chipper chain?..........

  14. ......after ten years,really really going to build a tractor shed. Probably 40 feet by 20. On 3 acres and no neighbours..... Would like to use telegraph poles sunk 3feet deep with a pitched roof onduline finish. would appreciate advice whether planning and building regs would spoil my plans........regards, chris
