  1. A lunge would make things more interesting.
  2. Looking good, how much more production than man and saw ? I like the short videos on facebook.
  3. Take the starter motor off, and use jump leads to test that it is working straight from the battery. Negative clipped to the metal casing of the starter, Positive to the copper bolt on the back of the starter. This should cause the motor to spin, if you then use the positive jump lead to bridge across to the connection on the solenoid, you can test that as well. If they both work, then it is a question of fault finding between the starter button or key and the starter itself. Does that make sense ?
  4. Steady on Steve, you are spending money??
  5. I take your four drill holes, and raise you by eighteen!!

  9. Sorry i quoted the wrong reply, there is not that many different types of fungi in west Wales, which is probably to do with low levels of trees historically. I had a quick look on the NBN website, and it shows no records for south Pembs, and only one for north Pembs.
  10. Normally the kids have knocked off the fruiting bodies with stones by now. I noticed the stain a couple of years ago, but this is the first time that i have been able to ID it before the kids have knocked it off.
  11. I dont tend to thin the outside 5m edge of most woods in Pembrokeshire, mainly due to the wind. But if you have Ash die back, then you are going to get gaps in the edge trees anyway, so i would start by removing the Ash, and take it from there. If you are not too far, i can pop over, as i enjoy being nosey in other people woodland.
  12. Inonotus hispidus, this is the first time that I have seen this fungus in west Wales. Unfortunately it is growing on an Ash which has about 500 school kids walking under it twice a day, so it will have to be removed. Sorry pictures are not very good, as it is 10' up, and i had to stand on the roof of my Landy.
  13. I am guessing because he has climbed above his main anchor, and he still has two anchors with both flip lines. Possibly, maybe ???
  14. I would guess at Spruce bark beatle as well.
  15. It was Freshwater West where they filmed HP. I did go with the intention of removing its sword, but it was too a magnificent a beasty to mutilate.
