  1. I hate to state the obvious but why not have several sets of clobber.
  2. I have to let my Hunter go out every ten days so I can clean out the ash. It'll burn 24/7 for weeks if I let it.
  3. Mate if you want someone for half a day you're gonna have to pay a full days dosh.
  4. After about an hour I reckon it'd be boring. It's just a jet ski......a novelty for a tad then plain boring.
  5. When I first saw this thread I though maybe someone had posted a pic of me n Plippy working together.
  6. :lol:Hahahaha I bet he aint seen his balls for years.
  7. Before I found Arbtalk I considered myself a very good climber, in some respects I still do but I've watched blokes climb in comps with less than eight years under their belts and had some of em work for me aswell and I just know that they are mustard otherwise I wouldn't still be employing em. If your good you'll always have work no matter what era your from.
  8. Yeah it went well but this bloke decides what he posts on Youtube. I wonder if he has some jobs that went wrong in his archives that he didn't want to share.
  9. Good on ya mate. Good attitude.... Be warned though there are some unsavoury characters round that way that will take advantage......nuff said.
  10. I dont see much difference tbh. Infact I'd say 'some' people that started recently are better than the 'old school' types.
  11. Hmmm good point, never thought to ask him. Twenty to thirty mile I spose.
  12. My eldest brother who lives in Gateshead Newcastle was made redundant two weeks ago after working for the same employer for the last twenty seven years. He has no experience in our line of work so he's good for draggin' only, he's super fit, trains regular and learns fast so if anyone can help him out I'd be forever grateful....
  13. Tachyon is ace, do yourself a favour and pm Oldsnake for some AP with spliced ends.....Great combo...
  14. Phil, you are about the tightest git I have ever come across in my whole life and yet you spent good hard earnt on that......
  15. It's true......she was a trapeze artist but that's as far as truth goes haha. My nan was a wirey little Irish thing and strong as an ox and would've made a blindin' little climber.
  16. Dont listen to Mozza!!! Things are only as heavy as your arms are weak!!! Strength comes with age......happy birthday ad.....
  17. Actually my nan was Britains first tree surgeon. In the early thirties she was a trapeze artist and flew topless because she had three tits and the crowd loved it. When she left the circus she set up her own business under the name of 'Triple Nipple Tree Services'.......
  18. Why not use the Fungi Directory.
  19. Me n the missus just watched it, infact we were glued to it. Amazing.
  20. So I take it from the lack of reply that you're not interested.
  21. Should have done lol. I told him he could come round but he'd have to excuse the mess as I was right in the middle of cleaning my bayonet collection.....
  22. Good thread Max. I have a job very similar that has been dragging on for weeks and on Thursday when the TO that has stuck by her guns on a 33% reduction meets up with the customer, a consultant and me to finally resolve the matter.
  23. Brilliant!! Had a call last week from a firm saying my house had been chosen for a free alarm system, the surveyor is in the area now so can he come and see what system will be required......
  24. Just incase Jonesie doesn't see this thread pm him and ask for Phil Greens number as I dont have it to hand.
