  1. Well how refreshing it is to find a youngster these days that can and wants to graft. Young Sam worked for me today and I gotta say he was excellent, always looking for things to be done, always keen to help and on top of that he is extremely knowledgeable about all things in the countryside. As most on here know I only use freelancers and therefore cant offer Sam a permanent job although I will without doubt have work for him in the future until someone snaps him up but until then if anyone else is looking for a good grafter to help out give Sam a call. Nice one mate and thanks for your help today:thumbup: See you in the near future.
  2. You could be on to a nice little earner there Rob. Like Stevie says go for the B+Q brigade and charge £15 a saw.
  3. You orrible nasty piece of work, shame on you Johnny.....
  4. Always struck me as a little bit weird that he hasn't rode a tour before now. He has always been a strong rider and it's a shame to see him in the tour at such a late age. I'd love to see him win a stage.
  5. Yeah Big Mig was good but a tad boring. If you're harping on about the past then it has to be Sean Kelly for me, the worlds number one all time road race ace, hard as bleedin' nails........
  6. I'll watch the prologue then decide. I see Jeremy Hunt is in the line up, is this his first tour?
  7. Yup the highlight of mine aswell, never miss a stage if I can help it. Who would you put money on to win it this year Ian?
  8. If you want a days work tomorrow give me a call on 07758585805.
  9. Yeah cheers for that Rich:thumbup:..... lovin' it.....
  10. See if she likes this Tom.....give it time:thumbup1:[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz7OFW3p1C8&feature=related]YouTube - Time by Easy Dub All Stars[/ame]
  11. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1R--qzltJY&feature=related]YouTube - Eliza Doolittle - Pack Up (Official HD)[/ame]
  12. Crikey you're right!!! It was only the seat that was putting me off buying it.
  13. Yeah maybe you're right Stevie, you know more about those sort of things than me but atm scrap is worth a fair bit so I'd say scrap the lot and grab the instant cash.
  14. Thats got scrap written all over it if you ask me Pete.
  15. Funny as and I hate to say it Pete but look how you have spelt Lincolnshire...
  16. :lol:Dont worry we'll carry em in our handbags....
  17. You'd better make it Nick, you're one the hardcore members of our little meets. Don't let the side down now mate... Phil, have you asked Mrs.Plippy if you can go or are you gonna call her at the last minute and blame it on me as per usual.....LOL.
  18. Right here's the plan. Meet at The Bell for 09.50 sharp then into the woods until 1400 then make our way back to the pub to watch England thrash Germany.....Who's up for it ?
  19. A bad start always means a good finish, we could win this......Come on England....
  20. Well there's yer problem mate. Should've left the stakes in place and just slackened off the ties. Just put it all back in place without putting the stakes any deeper.
  21. Also I've just realised that you must have bought them as standards where as Red Robins are normally sold as shrubs with foliage all the way down the stem. Your standards have put all their new growth in the top and created a bigger sail area which will make the wind rock worse. Get someone that knows what they're doing to stake em and remove any dead and cut back the sail area to growing points.......less foliage will give the roots a chance to settle in......well that's my opinion anyhow.
  22. I'd say you should have staked your Red Robins 'Photinia' when you planted em Justin, I bet they initially put on loads of growth and now they're suffering from wind rock....try staking em asap and a good watering.
  23. With the backs of his legs slapped and no tea......
  24. Franks not allowed to play with you Johnny, his mum says you're a bad influence and you swear alot..... We're having a tea drinking comp in the woods on Sunday Frank, two categories seated (40+ vets) stand a good chance of winning that one myself and standing, points will be awarded on the volume and strength of tea consumed.
