  2. I bought an AMA top handled saw (25cc) for topping conny hedges and an AMA groundsaw (45cc) from Jonesie this year and I've used em regular as clockwork and both are doing well. Both came with a two year warranty. £145 and £200 respectively and money well spent imo.
  3. Lob it and buy a new one, but if you insist on having a go I have one that you can have for spares.

  14. Bloody ell you've just given me a blindin idea Ian, seeing's as everyone thinks me welding is brilliant and 100% structuraly sound I'm gonna start knocking out Hiabs......can I put you down for an order mate?
  15. Cheers Dean, it's called the guano weld....specialist stuff that you wouldn't know about..... Cheers for that Garth, where's the cheapest place to buy wire? I used all the wire that came with the welder and now I've got the bug I want to weld everything in site....

Thanks for that Andy:thumbup1:I did consider it but me being me couldn't wait so I went out and bought a gasless mig that has the option of fitting gas should I need it at a later stage of my new found welding career... Thanks for all your tips lads, if it weren't for you lot and Arbtalk I'd have bought the wrong bit of kit.....In the end I paid £235 for the Clarke 130EN.

  22. Got next to no experience with it. I have a couple of minor jobs I need doing ie bit of bodywork on the tranny and some welding on a mini crane (just bracing it to the tranny). I am going to buy one of these for the job unless I'm advised otherwise. Clarke 160N Easi-arc Welder - Machine Mart Anyone got any tips on welding?
