  1. £280 job, knocked £30 off if they kept the chip. Forty minutes chipping and they gave us a thirty quid tip. Eh up Petunia! I should've bought one years ago.
  2. I never bothered with a demo either, just listened to what people in here had to say about them, watched some youtube clips and went out and bought one. It's way better than I was expecting.
  3. If yer gonna sell something sell it. Don't ponce about just cos you got issues with ebay.
  4. Won't be long now! Proper sweep, stripped it down, checked welds and cleaned for forty quid.
  5. You gonna make it Dave? It'd be good if you could
  6. If he's that tight he's probably got no employers insurance for you. Time to look for something else.
  7. I don't suppose it matters much what they call it, they're gonna rip us off either way but you think they could of at least tried to pull the wool over our eyes with something a bit better than value added tax.
  8. I know what you're saying mate, breaks my heart n all and I only pay forty quid. Get a cert for that though, a cert to say it's been done by a competent person. Not saying we ain't competent but it's good for insurance purposes.
  9. Took down a pear tree laden with fruit for an Indian lady once. We agreed a price but when it came to paying she said....no no, you take fruit instead.
  10. Same as that, chimney sweep due in tomorrow and not a moment too soon. Turned bloody nippy down here.
  11. Poullan, the only time it went fast was when it was thrown out of the tree.
  12. They're free ffs. What d'ya want him to do.....gift wrap em
  13. Got any idea how many he's got?

    Rats!

That's a beefer Geoff! Did you use the ferret to catch em?
  16. Yeah you're right. I sometimes borrow from my self imposed dog insurance fund that I've accrued since doing away with pet insurance.
  17. Done with finance. Make do and save. That's what I do and when I've drawn the money out to buy what ever I make a standing order to pay my savings account back. Zero percent interest.
  18. You've got first refusal mate. I'll count up tomorrow and let you know how much.
  19. I'll up that by a finger of fudge. That should be just enough to give yer kids a treat.
  20. Pretenders to the throne! Good, but not as good as mine
  21. No idea what they'd cost postage to NI. All in a1 condition and about a hundred and fifty at last count but if you're interested I'll have a proper count up at the weekend.
