  1. Funny you should say that, I skidded to a halt this morning to avoid a Pheasant with her chicks crossing the road. Kinda late ain't it.
  2. :thumbup1:Nice one Charlie. Don't forget some pics.
  3. 50hp is ample for that Tom, probably get 25knots out of it. It's already marinised Al, you'll have to flush it through with fresh after using it in the sea. Even if it does run nice you'll still need an auxiliary motor as well as flares, handheld VHF radio and gallons of fuel cos it'll drink it like a fish being a two stroke. Personally I'd stick to fresh water with that.
  4. My mum used to say if the wind suddenly changes direction while you're pulling a funny face you'll stay like it for the rest of your life. It's true as well cos it happened to Plippy.
  5. The first thing I'd have done is said sorry for the delay Mick, we've got a 500 in now if you still want a demo.
  6. Nothing to describe, it's all there in black n white. I ask for a demo, get a reply, I reply stating I need one soon and that's where it ended. No follow up pm, phone call or anything.
  7. Not interested in giving me a demo then. Glad I didn't go with the jo beau on account of your customer service alone.
  8. Three fella's. Sorry openspaceman, only just twigged your post.
  9. Hats off to you two fellas. What's yer plans for retirement or are you just gonna soldier on til you've had enough?
  10. Any truth in em? Ten minutes before leaving for work today the missus screams her head off in the bedroom, biggest spider you've ever seen in your life according to her.... Her mum reckons keep a conker in every corner and spiders won't come in.
  11. It's looking that way Ted. Wolfie you can be a prospect.
  12. Well done on the century ride...... This is a good quote...'Never regret getting older, it's a privilege denied to many' Cheers for that one Robert.
  13. Anyone under fifty but no younger than forty four can join as a probationary member. One rule though, don't mention that new romantic stuff you used to listen to......
  14. You really should get on the dragons den with those sprog beaters mate. I'll be able to supply the sprog to demo on so long as I can come on and do the beating....
  15. It's official then....sprogs are pretty much useless and as elders we reserve the right to batter them as n when we see fit. Those in favour say aye.
  16. Yep, couldn't agree more eagleye. Take that ICTrees fella for instance, total disrespect of his elders. Didn't listen to a word I said.
  17. Err excuse me! Did you not read the thread title youngun? Don't even bother replying to that cos you ain't old enough....
  18. Swap the tea for beer, you'll still struggle to get up and will probably hit the deck a few times but you won't feel the pain. Doctors orders.....trust me I'm a surgeon
  19. Post yer moans n groans in here. I'll kick off with.....my effin back is killing me and I am sick n tired of useless sprogs.....
  20. I am definitely living in yesteryear when people did an honest days work for an honest days money. How times have changed.
  21. She's a beefer. I used to trim one that big from a rope n harness with a hedge trimmer. A long time ago mind. I think they use mewps these days.
  22. Haha I'd not seen that Thomson one before.
  23. There's one or two round here that do that sort if thing. It's sneaky and underhand IMO.
  24. Sorry mate didn't mean it and I wish I could practice what I preach... Change of plan here, the missus doesn't wanna go out and has got a roast on...... Six cans in the fridge and the Vuelta to look forward to.
