I,ve been looking for a bigger truck for a while now. I found this, ex BT, 71,000 on the clock. Do you blokes think its a bit pricey ? £5500+vat.

I sub out but I,m fixed up with a top notch climber already. Stay fixed to Arbtalk, something will crop up from it.

Do exactly what the customer wants, its a nice easy tree to get some experience from and you can always remove whats left when they see how rough it looks. Think of the dosh aswell. -

Why was the cat shot. ? Sad, if it was for sport. Never seen anything here, but I sometimes think when I,m out shooting, what would I do If I did see one in range and safe to shoot. I always come up with the same answer, I,d leave it well alone.

I,ve insured my truck with NFU for fifteen years without any claims. I think it helps if youre an existing customer. I switched PL insurance from Trust to NFU this January, unlimited height no problem. I even got five percent loyalty discount.

I,m well out of touch with airguns Stevie. The last I had was an Airarms S300 single shot precharge, deadly accurate and can be modified to fire at 30ft lbs. Swapped it for a Bruno .22 rimfire.

Foresters. Tree Surgeons carry someone elses waste...... I dont like it anymore than you Dean.

There are exemptions to the rule, tree surgeons are one of them. Customers have contracted you to remove their waste. I,ve really argued with the EA in the past by phone and eventually I saw their point......Its up to you really as to decide if you need one or not. As long as you can stomach the £300 fine, then carry on as you are. Or pay £150 for three years, then £90 for the next three years and when you get a pull, (which you will cos they,re clamping down) you can tell em to f off and get a proper job cos youre covered.

I used to have one and used it until the novelty wore off, which was about ten minutes. They,re inaccurate and illegal to hunt with.
