  1. Well done mate. I don't think most people realise just how scarce these poor little beggars are becoming. Maybe one hedgehog per sixty people left now? They need all the help they can get.
  2. Depends what colour paint. If it was something hard to pronounce I'd guess it would be pretty dangerous.
  3. Not true Steve. I've just bought one for my loft, and it's perfect. (Loft ladder impossible with roof orientation). For tree work? The only possible scenario would be when some awkward bastard wanted an 8' stump left and insisted on no bark damage. Handy then. And only then.
  4. Good heads up mate, and sorry to hear this. Has anyone told the thieving scum that they're not allowed to operate 'outside working hours'? I'll be checking the terms of my policy pretty carefully. Your insurance co. have basically been stealing your money.
  5. I've got the Pintail Dean, it's nice kit.
  6. It's a chore admittedly, especially when climbing, but you can't skimp on mayntayneeance. Seriously, grease a lot or not at all seems to be the general consensus.
  7. I clean the tip sprocket out with an airline after every cut.
  8. I think the Techlite bars are actually made from grease?
  9. I'll echo Steves comments. We've just repollarded 90 ivy smothered dirty pops with the knuckles at about 15'. Wouldn't have fancied anyone's chances without a ladder, not if you wanted to make money. It's very rare I'd use a chainsaw from a ladder without being stropped in, I should add.
  10. I'd guess 4/5 satchets a year for my Huskys, tips and clutches. I'm worth it.
  11. Tape sling for chest rig costs £3, muppet. The only thing I enjoy having round my neck is your lasses legs.
  12. I'm a greaser, every refill. Cheaper than a new bar IME.
  13. Are there exemptions if you wear a John Deere boiler suit?
  14. Were you greasing the tip sprocket?
  15. Hahahaha! Got me there Mick, fair play! Never mind his views, look at his hair. Now that is truly shocking.
  16. Matty I reckon you could break a ball bearing.
  17. Oh dear. Never mind, mine is still great! I reckon you used it on the ground, the software detects this and blows the bar up.
  18. Only the Lumpini on a brief stopover, an amazing card, nearly every fight was a corker. Would love to visit again, but spend more time outside Bangkok. Thai boxing is an amazing discipline, but I don't even begin to understand it. I used to really follow boxing in the eighties and nineties, much less so now. Naseem sparred in our gym in Sheffield when he was about 13. It was about then I began to realise I was actually shite!
  19. You're not the bloke I sucked off outside the Lumpini stadium in Bangkok are you?
  20. I reckon a tonne at about a level load, no greedy boards, about 2.5m3 if the chip is fresh/damp. Tow what you like as long as it doesn't put you over your gross train weight, and be careful about your axle loadings. Remember the nose weight of whatever you're towing counts as part of your payload on the towing vehicle (not much with normal chippers mind).
  21. I wouldn't bet against him. He's like a black, slightly taller version of me really.
