  1. Yes way! Wordle 1,290 2/6 🟨⬜🟩🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  2. Give it a go mate!
  3. Sounds ideal mate. I totally get kids wanting stuff at Christmas, it can be a really magical time if you put some thought into it. I don’t get grown adults wanting tons of crap though, I simply don’t.
  4. I’m a massive Christmas fan, love pretty much all of it. BUT the consumerism thing is beyond a joke. Luckily both our families are pretty sensible. Our kids get nice stuff, but not ridiculous. They appreciate what they get. Needless plastic crap isn’t welcome. For a few years now the adults buy for one other person, £100 value, and you pretty much tell each other what you want. I got a Gransfors splitting maul one year, now there’s a present! It saves running around fretting what to get the mother in law etc., then invariably buying some crap for the sake of it. MIL is Dutch, so we have kids stockings first thing, dog walk, boozy lunch etc. then main presents in the evening, which keeps the anticipation up for the kids and works for us.
  5. Sounds like they’ve taken a step backwards? Dirty ropes are part of arb.
  6. ‘Howay the lads!’ Only the old Geordies will remember. RIP Jimmy.
  7. Have you got a thumb you can eat soup with as well then Conor?
  8. Appropriately in 5! Wordle 1,289 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  9. I load my Worky Quad up ramps into my Transit and pull my TW160 which works fine. As Woody has pointed out though, you then need to make separate runs to tip chip. This works on some jobs, but is a PITA on others depending on logistics.
  10. That’s great Peter, thanks. What is the device?
  11. Nice Peter. What is the drill/driver for at the start?
  12. Wordle 1,288 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟨 🟨🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  13. Indeed. 8 hours in a slow cooker with a bottle of Hobgoblin. Food of the Gods.
  14. In at the death, fairly pissed! Wordle 1,287 2/6 🟨⬜🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

  16. Exactly that Rich.
  17. I don’t think any plant manufacturers do enough Paul. They could and should do a lot more.
  18. The thieves friend eBay makes trackers not quite as effective as you’d think Alan. Hidden Device Detector for sale | eBay WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Find great deals on eBay for Hidden Device Detector. Shop with confidence.
  19. I heard earlier Doug, shite news. Fingers crossed the police get a result. As Monkeybusiness said, if eBay and FB marketplace weren’t so complicit in helping the thieving scum we’d see a lot less of this. The middle east countries have a few bad practices, but cutting the hands off thieves isn’t one of them.
  20. Merry Christmas Wordlers! Wordle 1,285 3/6 🟨⬜🟩🟨⬜ 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  21. Thanks Kram, I’ll check them out. Maybe just chuck them in a chunky sized set of mitts.
  22. That’s an image I don’t need Mike, I’ve just got in from church.
  23. They are on the Sam Turner website mate. I find them so surprising I suspect they may be wrong. They’re the toastiest gloves I’ve found for climbing. Unless the scale is based on arctic mittens made of polar bear fur and uranium or something. They’re £7 Kram, just buy a pair and see what you think.
  24. That’s the sort of situation that I find difficult. I have Raynards in my hands so cold and wet is my nemesis. You hit a good point earlier about having multiple pairs of gloves. In your earlier situation you should have jumped back in the truck and warmed up before going for it. I’m seriously thinking of buying some heated mitts so I can quickly get life back into my hands when I start losing all sensation.
