  1. Burn them? You're mental. I sold them all for £9 each, made a small fortune. Nearly enough to pay for a meal after swimming.
  2. Hahaha, that conservatory has been felled and replaced with an extension so I'd kind of given up on the maintenance at that point. Perhaps I could have given myself a discount!
  3. I turned up with half a bulk bag of logs in the back of the Navara at Centreparcs once, and found out our chalet that year had a gas fire. Bugger.
  4. I know that is a potential issue, but I've had no problems with it. I'll get a pic of it loaded this week.
  5. Here's mine mate. Still chop and change to Ddrt when the situation demands. Really important to set the RW in neutral for smooth ascents.
  6. Clipping into a caritool instead of a side D. That hurt. Shooting up an SRT line, getting to about 45' then realising I hadn't clipped in my system onto my bridge. Which was difficult with shaking hands.
  7. Apparently a dance move had gone wrong. He was trying to do the conger. I'll get me coat....
  8. You are probably at more danger of dying of exhaustion than a kickback to the neck.
  9. They actually used to charge for it, now it's free. There's a first time for everything!
  10. Tragic. All I can offer is get into the habit of tucking your chin into your chest when you're cutting. I'm pretty good at not one-handing, but sometimes needs must when the devil drives.
  11. All there mate. Bridge rings are extremely well made, you could tow with them. Skyland. Skyland. Skyland.
  12. 3 different climbs today. Hornbeam, euc and conny. Very pleased so far. I didn't notice the harness at all, which is good news for me.
  13. My mates mam had one and virtually had to tow a diesel bowser with her.
  14. Koala is a bit of a weird name choice really. Have you seen how active they are in a tree? Very apt, tbh.
  15. The slippers are a must Darrin. I'll just use my old longboard if I need to add the seat option.
  16. It also feels very streamlined on, really nice small side-D's. I didn't knock anything off the shelves when I walked through the shop earlier.
  17. It's here. Top service and advice from the Skyland boys again. First impressions are good, very light, feels about the same as the Sequoia. Love the positive, simple metal buckles, very quick on and off. I've only worn it indoors and haven't had a hang in it yet, but it feels very comfy. The bridge looks disturbingly skinny, and I haven't fitted a ring yet. The leg loops are considerably wider, and should be really comfy IF I set it up right. There are options for adjustment everywhere, and plenty of gear loops. I'll report more as I go.
  18. Good save in the circumstances. What was Newton doing on your patch anyway?
  19. I meant girdling the stem, 9 boards up.
  20. Also looks like there's wire in the left hand stem.
  21. I'm just gutted that we won't have any more Champions League matches to look forward to.
