  1. If it's for your own use on private land you can drive it round naked, drunk and untested if you like. I'm not condoning that behaviour, obviously. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. Let me guess, they would do it for you for free? Oh. Thought not. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. Don't dig the stump, dig everything around the stump and it will free itself. It must be some stump if you can't fettle it with a 15-tonner.
  4. I think nearly every company top I've been offered has been a cheap, scratchy polo shirt. Polo shirts are crap for actually working in. Tim, that's the way to do it right enough.
  5. Exactly. £28 is only an hours drinking with Matty F.
  6. That's not really the point Bill. If you trash a £150 rope with one because the cam is too aggressive they will suddenly appear to be less of a bargain. They might be fine, but I'd rather save up for something decent and not take the risk.
  7. Interesting image there of ascender worn on the outside of the ankle. That pretty much sums it up for me.

  10. Hahahaha! Pretty cruel, like. I was only trying to give the bloke a hand fellas! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Look at the thread on a mobile device smartarse. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Not visible on iPhone mate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Christian you have put your work thread in the Employment section, which is great, but that's locked for replies and you haven't said which area you are in. Just a heads up mate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Good advice from Mick. Spare blades and swapping out time is very cheap in the grand scheme of things. Decent tools, technique and jigs help a lot. If you need any advice just ask on here. I've got a 125 rather than a 160, and I understand the blades are more accessible now. As a rule if you think the blades might need changing, they do. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. It does look very good. Seems to have everything you need and nothing you don't. I'd never buy without trying, and it's certainly expensive, but this is a real contender to replace my ancient Sequoia, which to be fair has been excellent. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. I've got medical reasons. I've got bulimia and Alzheimer's. I keep eating loads then forgetting to throw up. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. I'll drink to that Mick. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. I don't care Gary, I've left Arbtalk and joined a tarmaccers group on Facebook. Friendly bunch there, they have already offered to come out and check my security systems. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. I carry it well because I'm so tall though, don't you think? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Nice one Mick. Always good to give a second chance at the life they deserve. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Bloody cheek. I'm on halves now. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Looks a little cracker Nikk. Great name. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. I've just been owned by the pros.
  24. I would have felled it. Long term there isn't room for both.
  25. That's stunning James. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
