  1. I'm a glass half-full type of bloke Mark!
  2. That's got to be grand news for hungry poor people then? So much more choice.
  3. What sad news. I never met him, but he always came across as a knowledgeable and likeable guy on here. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP David.
  4. I'll believe you Diane Abbott! What Huck says is also true. Trees just do their own thing. On a job with Rich Rule the last couple of weeks we noticed a pair of copper beech on a village geen, one miles ahead of the other, although they're a sister pair in good health. The reason the poem is so wrong is that we've had some awful summers as well as some belters when oak has come out miles ahead as usual. Don't even get me started on that shifty firewood poem. 5. Good work mate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Oak has come out before ash every year in memory. Those old poems are total bs. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Wow! Who would have known? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Thanks fellas, you're the best. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. I had an issue this week when my 560 suffered a snapped pin in the chain brake mechanism (it's on a spline which fits into the side casing). Quick call to Mark and not only did he source the part, he explained how to remove the remains of the original, which was now flush with the inner casing and tighter than a virgin whose mother was a nun. Part and a few other bits arrived pronto as ever and my favourite saw is ready to rock. The problem is Skyland included 4 Husqvarna boiled sweets in with the deal, but I only have 3 kids. If I eat the spare one will I become obese? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Cheers Mick, I do and will. The memory banks are being well stocked at the minute for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Hahaha! Hawkeye! Sure is! No Punch and Judy tonight though. I was treated to a rubber bath shark vs. Sky from Paw Patrol. An artistic treat that many will never be lucky enough to witness... Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Much better Will. 8mm, yes, but 'extra wide'. £2.27 from GSPRODUCTS.co.uk. You want the one with 32mm internal diameter. I kept the washers on the outside to avoid abrasion on the tether arms. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Yes, I know the conservatory is shabby and full of kids crap, it's getting ripped down next week. Grass needs cutting, that'll get done tomorrow. Hawthorn looking nice in blossom though. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Also gives a ready made clip in point for Chester or necklastic. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Well I'm still loving the setup generally, but I'm bisexual at heart and thought it would be nice to be able to lose the RW and work Ddrt on small garden trees and in certain situations. Like Joe suggested in post 5 of this thread I've replaced the M10 bolt and nylock nut for a simple D-shackle so I can lose the RW if I need to. Haven't tried it yet, mind. Watch this space. 18. That's stunning Ian. I hope it's not staying outside.
  19. Hit the 3 dots on the right of the banner at the top, select 'web view' and watch. (Thanks Al Mcormack!). Nice setup. I'm getting one when Labour get into power and we have 3m extra police officers. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. +1. I know this to be a fact. I've never bothered with a box because I wanted the whole thing modular. Ply bulkhead (which will need replacing now and then), unless you have a solid bulkehead, and 2 ally sheets bolted through the dropsides is an easy set up. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Good advice from Richy on both counts. That box is a good price for the right vehicle though.
  22. People on here will be gutted to hear they have wasted thousands of pounds needlessly Spartacus. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
