  1. No they come in longer ones as well, get the longer bungee one and you will be fine, i can't get on with the standard strops, i find it get everywhere i don't want it!
  2. Good for you, i hope you do well. Its hard times to be going full time and done expect to make the same amout of money as teaching straight off but its a far better job IMO
  3. Sure mate, am sure you can "knock" one up from a knackered tranny starter motor, an old washing machine and some of your lasses knicker elastic! will pick it up at the APF.

  9. I agree Steve, it blocks the wheel up and sort of melts the plastic away. besides if you have to resort to this this there is a manufactur problem and it is not fit for use. wouldnt buy 0one again.

  12. I have done loades, nothing hard about it as long as you know the basics about engines and mechanics. the best place is ebay for non genuine parts and yes there just as good at a fraction of the price.

  19. Phuck of stick man...............im 6'5" and 17st and do very well thanks!!! But yeah at 20st your gonna find it hard work, but get going and you will loose some of that lard. don't let all the little stick men put you off.
  20. Seems a hard and risky way of doing things, don't understand the use of the wedges either. why not climb or use a platform and distmantle properly, would of been just as fast in the long run.
  21. Put a shot of fuel down the plug hole and see if it fires, if it does its deffo a fuel problem.
  22. Aint seen ours yet as its not out till back end of sept. I think the smaller book is a good thing, the old one was just far to big and numb. is the book finished? no but its dieing slowly, think this will be my last year with the book as its too expensive for the amount of work i get from it, the local monthly trade book we get gets me far more work.
  23. Same here I ran over a 044 last year with the truck and knackered th back handle, got a new part from stihl with the new stryle cap on it.............then had it knicked!!!!

I have the C+G in Mig that your on about, yes its good if you want to learn how to do a reasonable weld but its basic and the guys on the pipelines who are on good money are also "coded" where they have to perform welding tests and have there welding tested. go and do it it will get you going.
