Giving up without trying is easy, its a lazy mans way out. David, don't listen to this nay sayer. OK so you have no tickets, when I started I didn't have any, mostly because they didn't exist back then but I would have gone for it anyway. Just put them at the top of your "to do" list for the sake of keeping legit, and because many customers will require it. No driving licence? well he is on with that. Ending in tears is sitting in your dotage regretting having never tried.

I saw a firewood outfit using one of those to great effect. They wheeled the rings out as doubles then used the lift and a pair of timber tongues to get them on the transit, Much labour saved.

You can use whatever is appropriate. A screw gate is fine, I wouldn't use anything without some way of securing the gate

Most of the ones I see are dying, starting about ten minutes after I get there.

If the land is industrial there shouldn't be a problem Blagging it is what a lot of people try, the planners have seen no end of blagging so you will need to be on top of your game, in the long run its often less hassle and expense to find the right bit of ground rather than fight the planners.

What's the land used for now? If its not got industrial use you could have a world of problems, importing wood processing and selling it is going to need planning consent
