  10. In 1996 I began my journey into Tree Work and made a good friend at college.I seem to bump into him everytime there is a Beech tree with Ganoderma or Merrupilis. We both did well at College and took to tree surgery well.when I left I bought an LT 35 and did my own tree work but after the break up of a long relationship I left England and sold everything to go and live in Holland (women have always been my downfall)...my friend however started his own buisness and has been one of the most successsful companies in county Durham and this afternoon I caught up with him on site just in time to see him bring the unfortunate tree (trunk) to a safe landing...when I inspected the tree last week they were the second largest brackets I had seen.....good to see the friend I have known the longest in this Industry still doing it....great team as well. I am refering to Steve Tomlin and Premier Tree Services...Good Job lads.
  11. Had a great morning at Waggot's wood yard selecting timber. And after a phone call we are one step closer to aquiring a nice load of tree work from the council...just missed out on removing a dangerous beech tree in a local cemetary.the tree in question was today being sorted out by a Very close friend of mine from right back where it all started! My life is full of coincidence these days....and I am very happy.

  20. It's getting colder Jon and the wind is very chilly and if like me you smile a lot:) then that can mean cracked or bleeding lips! I'm not into male body grooming at all in fact I only brush my teeth and wash my hair.....if I remember!! But these conditions require a lippy:thumbup: this ones great....good barrier against the elements.....and doesn't taste of mango or any other silly flavour:rolleyes:
  21. If you really want total and near frictionless climbing that is ultra controlable in all weather then I suggest you try your ZigZag on Blue Tongue 11.7 and run it through a Teufelberger Pulley saver! it makes climbing effortless and can be retrieved from the ground.
