  2. The Hayauchi is one hell of a good saw! Effortless cutting...nice and light compared to an engine powered long reach.
  3. Anchord And stropped you are free to really utilise the cutting potential of the saw safely all around you and if you have long arms that can be to your advantage.

  10. I love my Zillon lanyard and 2 point every time I cut....it takes seconds to set....anywhere....gives a rock steady work position......I like good work position...in fact its what really got me excited about tree work...the fact that we use equiptment that allows us to lock into a safe position and enables us to safely use a chainsaw up a tree!!! Without fear of movement, slip or swing. That's my opinion on the matter.
  11. And that was a 35 ton Huskie splitter Jon! What is it about women who love chainsaws? And who drive pick up trucks!:)
  12. Very observant Alex....I think she's perfect! I want to visit the deep south now. Best of all she loves what she does and I like people who are happy and positive about what they do and their life!

  15. These two images are giving me inspiration...I will post any further developments to the "Silkythreadstation 2015"
  16. That's more like it Darrin....we're on the same wavelength now. Wood/carbon fibre........and some sort of L.E.D or Laser enhancement. It will be my new Thinkstation/Tablet table.
  17. Then to Clive's workshop for a facelift and onto Durham.
  18. Then after the chainsaw it came to my bedsit in Kew Village via bicycle (slab on the right)
  19. Here's where it began.
  20. Darrin that's a good idea but it has table written all over it. (Not literally)
  21. New Sequoia best in my opinion. ..tried the Edelrid Core for an ariel rescue assesment....it looks cool, but didn't cut the mustard like the new Petzel.
  22. Ok i see, fuller leg loops... sorry again for the de-rail....Gray Git's fault for encouraging me:p;)
  23. Tipping the AT and offering it to the underside of huge lumps can be a one man opperation...
  24. Communication is vital...especially roadside or high target concentration areas so these comms are a godsend..familiar scene of a double decker passing under a tree David! Excellent picture.
