  1. bifenthrin (Scotts Bug Clear, Doff All-In-One Garden Pest Killer). Note, if you mix yourself for knapsack sprayer make sure you get the dosage correct.
  2. Looks very familiar. You need a winch.
  3. I have a Land Rover fetish. No 48?
  4. Carrying a copy of BS 3998 and wearing an Oak leaf in your button hole, or an Acorn in your belly button if you have'nt got a button hole
  5. We had a Villager in the last house which run 3 radiators. The only issue we had was the asbestos rope used to be replaced now and again. We also had little Wenlock which is a small fire but that one did two raiators as well. Both fires would stay in all night, just open up the air vents next morning, stoke em up and away they go again. Rads warm in ten minutes.
  6. Yes, but not very often. Probably once or twice a year.
  7. Ben, how ya doin. Bert still has your hat, he has been wearing it all through the recent cold spell. How long has he had that?. Bet you forgot all about it. Your set up looks good. The mog looks a bit dirtier now the shine has gone off the new paint.
  8. Yes I think it is but Mark would tell you better than me, he services it and actualy knows what all the levers and knobs are for. The crane is demountable and quite easy to get off. The front winch is quite handy to. What course was you on then, the RFS or the Tech Cert.
  9. I spoke to James last week, I had broke down on the M5 and called him by mistake:bored:. He said he was really busy. I think we are down to around 100 tonne now, sold quite a lot to the log guys.
  10. Well now you got me thinking, that would be around 1992/93?.
  11. I pop in now and again, some good stuff just wished I had time to read it all.
  12. Thats a very tempting offer, just wondering what I could do all night with three nuts. I will see what the mrs says and get back to you. Would you include your right nut for the trailer as well:001_smile:
  13. The first two pics are mine just after I had it resprayed, the third pic is Marks, the guy in the thread above with the video. We had been moving stone for two days in mid Wales and were washing the back off ready to go home.
  14. Must include the driver at that price
  15. One for work One for the Mrs One to play with We have a Bob Tail Range Rover for green laning The lads have a tray back for competitions Mine for competitions Dans for everyday use
  16. Do you know the guy?.
  17. Soul - Mowtown, if you like one you must like the other. Did anyone see the documentary on the Funk brothers last night. True genius. Never went to Wigan but we do go to the local events.
  18. Sometimes I wonder if the reams of paperwork I produce each day is there to help or simply trap me if things go wrong. I guess at least it shows we have thought about the situation. A gang of lads (nothing to do with me) working in the Black Country was felling some Lombardy Pops in a resricted area using a MEWP. The guy in the bucket trashed the MEWP. He took the top out but roped it at approx one third above ground level:scared1:. So using the right tool but not the right technique.
  19. I spoke to the guy last week because we have been thinking about buying one and he implied that it was him that did the work. But whatever. Is it the bed that goes rotten, the sides are aluminium?.
  20. We have one of these on hire at the moment, it was delivered to site today. I will let you know how we get on. It is from Orange by the way, Cannock depot.
  21. Theres a guy in Durham who converts Land Rovers, they go for between 9k - 11k but they are proper job.
  22. John

My name is Bob Smith from Wolverhampton Tree Service. Peter Bagguley from Greenmech popped in to see me the other day and said you might be getting rid of a shredder?. If you are and if you still have it could you give me a call 01902 892652.

    Cheers - Bob

  23. GPS Car Tracker Jammer... Not sure if the link will work but its to a tracker jammer, they are around £90 and simply plug into the cigartette lighter and block out the tracker signal. Anyone know if they work successfully.
  24. We have not noticed any difference as yet but it will catch up eventually and I would a fool to think otherwise. I employ 12 lads full time so we get through a fair bit of work. Our diary is full of enquiries every day but we have been round a long time so I guess that helps. I have had lots of one man bands and smaller teams asking for work. We do a lot of winter site clearance for developers in preparation for the following year. Most have not turned a blade of grass on last years sites yet so we will short of that work this time which is where we get our bigger winter jobs. I am hoping to get through to the spring and that things will have stabilised by then.
  25. Took the wheels of one lads car and left it on four house bricks. He just laughed when he saw it.
