  1. Timberwolf did a customer survey which I am sure that a number of you took part in, the findings of this survey have lead to Timberwolf addressing the issues raised with their own machines and those of some of their competitors. One point raised was that 750kg is a huge issue and is only getting bigger, there are machines on the market that really struggle to come under this threshold and keep the productivity you expect! Another point raised was bearing life, Timberwolf have addressed both these issues with the TW240TDHB(t) turntable machine, they have gone multiple steps further with the new "GAME CHANGING"chipper:thumbup:

  18. Was the back cut a bit low?
  19. Just going through my DCPC now to keep my C+E (old class 1), you do not need to take the DCPC unless you use your C1 licence (3500kg - 7500kg) for business use so long as driving is the main operation of your employment. driving to and from site carrying tools for your own use where driving is not your main job does not require you to take your driver's CPC. Hope that helps:thumbup:
  20. We have stock due to us available for delivery in late May at the moment but they are going fast:vroam:
  21. I would not say that, as with all chippers the basic lay out is similar to its class competitors be it turntable, PTO, in-line or tracked, we are all governed by the same criteria so there is only a set number of configurations all manufacturers can use. The HSE set the in-feed hopper height and stop bar layout, the weight constrictions have a massive impact on the components such as the Kubota 3 cyl turbo engine shared by Greenmech and Timberwolf in the sub 750kg turntable machines, (this engine was first used in the Jensen sub 750kg in-line machine so it could be said we are all following the Germans!) Although the basic design of the 2 chippers in question looks similar its the design of the main chipping components that set these 2 machines apart and these benefits can only be measured by using the machines along with personal preferences. I would recommend that if you have the chance, you try the TW240TDHB(t) and make your own decisions on the spec and build quality. It is an impressive machine:thumbup1:
  22. No you are right there Jonny69, but any Salesman worth his salt will only sell on the merits of his own product not the down side of his competitor's so the reasons for changing allegiance should only be because they see benefits in their new choice of product. Kev could have slated the Timberwolf product but instead he pushed the benefits of his product as he sees them, that in my view is a fair comment even if the thread is relating to a Timberwolf machine, Sorry for the rant:thumbup:
  23. Where abouts in the country are you, I would be happy to arrange a demo for you if you are in our area or I will point you in the right direction if you are not. In my slightly biased opinion the TW240 is a quality machine with great throughput but you will see that for yourself if you give it a try:thumbup1: Give me a call if i can help. 07880 646067
  24. This machine is available for hire from 1 of our customers, not the best video as the brash was not stacked for crane feeding but you get the idea:thumbup1:
  25. I would speak with Sharon and try the TVGTR, you will be impressed!
