  1. Wordle 1,146 5/6 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 That was a bit _____
  2. Ditto. This place is about the extent of my social media consumption. I do occasionally check LinkedIn but it's pretty boring as its just a load of people advertising jobs and other people showing off about new jobs or work achievements. I did ask old ve about why it is that he sees all this other risqué stuff, but he was obviously too busy to answer. Thinking cynically: it's just another profit driven platform with an algorithm serving people up whatever it is that they want to see. With radicalisation being an inevitable side effect for some.
  3. He's got some swell views has Robert V. Another throbber methinks. There's a theme emerging here.
  4. I love mackerel, any which way it's served. Not sure I could eat 978kg of it though.
  5. So this was on the wireless earlier, very timely. One of subjects was the initial source of the lies about the Southport attacker being a Muslim immigrant with an Arabic name. The Times has done an investigation and tracked it down to a middle aged mother of three from Cheshire. Very comfortably off, living in £1.5M house. Not what you'd expect maybe. She was already quite well known in the anti-lockdown, anti-net zero, (Climate change denier), space though. Not such a surprise. Those two were her bread and butter apparently. The initial claim was then jumped on by all the bedroom dwellers and spread around like wildfire on social media, where it was picked up by all the wrong people. And here we now are. Ain't social media great?! The Media Show - Sun Editor Victoria Newton - BBC Sounds WWW.BBC.CO.UK How the paper approached its reporting on Huw Edwards. Have a listen @Johnsond It starts at about 10 mins in. You might be interested to hear about the provenance of that "information going around" that you saw at the start of all this, that got you all worked up into this current frenzy. This is the story in The Times, I've not read it though as it's behind a payroll. Maybe you can. https://www.thetimes.com/uk/crime/article/mother-of-three-sparked-havoc-with-false-claim-about-southport-suspect-bd6kkzgpn
  6. Not forgetting Musk. What the hell is he playing at? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cze5gd1jzkeo

  8. Rissoto this evening. Chicken liver and herb. Dodgy photos but was very good. Presentation isn't a priority .
  9. Why don't you just pause for a minute to compose your thoughts, before you set finger to keyboard? Rather than having to go back to do multiple Edits on every post. Anyway. " it’s weird to worry about what starmer is doing right in front of us and alluding to what comes next. " - you didn't answer the question ve. Again. Why are you so scared of Starmer, what's your worst fear for "what comes next"?
  10. I was interested to read that article earlier. Surprised that the Environmental Agency had made it on to this guy's comprehensive list.
  11. I just hate to see lots of innocent people getting hurt because of guilible muppets spreading hate filled disinformation and nonsense on social media. What's your motivation for doing it ve? "you might be surprised at the more sensible reasoned argument being put over in LI" - you're right! I'd be amazed if old Anthony Brennan could put together any kind of cohesive argument. He just wants to get 73000 lads, (football hooligans), out on the streets to get pissed up, mess around with flags and smash stuff up. He doesn't really explain why they're needed, why this is happening. Since your LI shows you all that good content ve, maybe you could explain the back story here? Because to most people it just looks like a load of racists have used an unrelated tragedy as an excuse to kick off, (sorry, "protest"). That sounds ominous. Why are you so scared of Starmer, what's your worst fear? It's all a bit weird.
  12. Hopefully it will be. Potential for riot offenders to be charged under terrorism law, top prosecutor says WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK There is the potential for rioters to be charged under terrorism laws, the UK's top prosecutor has said in the wake of...
  13. Thanks for the corroboration again ve. So you've now resorted to openly sharing thug recruitment videos. Ain't social media great eh? (Though the funny thing is that on the rare occasions that I go on to LinkedIn I don't see content like that. Why do you think that is?). I don't reckon that 73000 football thugs on the streets is going to help matters much anyway. As your first video clip very effectively illustrates ve, violence just begets violence. So Anthony Brennan. He seems like a proper throbber. He's a cariture of the classic old school football hooligan. His call to arms effort would be comical, except that we've already seen the awful consequences of similar posts. You really shouldn't be sharing toxic crap like that. You personally ve should know how easily influenced people fall for disinformation. Don't you think we've had enough of this violence and destruction now, or do you actually secretly wish for Elon Musk's prophesy to come true? I'm still not sure if you're for against our patriotic police btw.
  14. Wordle 1,144 3/6 🟩⬜⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Solid
  15. Level headed analysis like this ought to be disseminated more widely. It might, or might not, help to quel the flames of anger and hatred being raised by the racist and anti immigrant narrative swirling around on (anti)social media. Probably nowhere near as compelling as old Anthony Brennan though, for those who like to "do their own research". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czx66dkx3wlo
  16. Yep. The six children statement comes out every 10 posts or something. Always bemusing. Almost as if it's inconceivable that children can be conceived by anything other than a fully hetero man. Hell, even gay men, trans women and test tubes can make rug rats, crazy. 1 son here for the record.
  17. Has Elon Musk grown a goatee?
  18. Very nice. I want one of them, and I don't even have any moles! One of the best things about going to France as a kid were the Pétards, and being able to buy them at any Tabac.
