  1. Ducked it on line 3. Wordle 1,438 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟨🟩🟩⬜ 🟩⬜🟩🟩⬜ 🟩⬜🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  2. Tangentially at best I'd say 43.
  3. Indeed. Exactly as happened on here immediately after the Southport thing. What with muppets stirring up racial tensions with fake news, impeding ongoing investigations with amateur sleuthery and biasing juries; social media has much to answer to. It must have made the work of the police 10 times harder.
  4. The police have set themselves a tricky precedent here, it might to be problematic to adhere to with some future events. There's no easy answer on how they should proceed with disclosing details in these situations; they're damned if they do and damned if they don't really. Why police released details about Liverpool crash suspect so quickly WWW.BBC.CO.UK The decision shows lessons have been learned from the Southport attacks last summer, writes Daniel Sandford.
  5. As above. Excuse the hijack here, but I have a related question. Can anyone explain why you normally see Hazels as multi, small diameter, stemmed trees, but sometimes also more like conventional trees with just a single or a few much larger diameter trunks? Or indeed sometimes a mixture of the two arrangements. I've never gotten my head round it. I don't think it's anything to do with coppicing, but I could be wrong. Tried to find a picture of what I mean but Sod's Law dictates that I can't quite.
  6. Thanks, that perfectly illustrates the point. Profits over People. Coming to a democracy near you soon!
  7. I've plumbed the depth of my very limited knowledge of palms I'm afraid. I wouldn't know what to suggest. If there are signs of life, and it's free, and it's not to much bother to dig out then give it a go I guess. Not the ideal time to be transplanting stuff though, being well into the growing season now.
  8. How very dare you UG?! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  9. Wet all day here so far. Much needed, it's the first proper rain in months. Blessed is the rain, (today)! Good mornings.
  10. Neither. Though it was common sense from the perspective of successful governance, so it would be more likely to be the musings of a government worker. This is one of the (many) problems with the current Potus. Extensive business experience and knowledge of running down a multi million dollar business, doesn't make him a good person to run a government and a country. On the contrary. It was obviously never going to work if he just focused on the bottom line, (profits and perks for himself and a few rich elites), to the detriment of the actual hardworking people and their welfare. Add to that the character of a crazy egotist and narcissist and you get the expected slow motion car crash that we see unfolding before our eyes. Anyone who thinks Mr Trump is a servant of the people is bewitched or just confused.
  11. It looks like it's toast to me, I'm sorry to say. You could have a poke around to see if there's any green in there anywhere. Other than that all you can do is leave it and see if it recovers. I wouldn't give it any additional water as that'll just hasten its demise if it is currently in a dormant state.
  12. Show off, typical ATW arrogance that is! Fair play to you though.

    Jokes???

The Henry I ordered from Turkey has arrived.

  15. Of the moment this one. Wordle 1,436 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  16. Nicely burka'd up Doug. Quite a knarly looking Beech behind you there, is that a lapsed hedge?
  17. I think we need some elaboration on that discussion. What was your point, you need to charge a certain amount to preclude scroats like him?
  18. That Paul Sykes video reminded me of that classic Wealdstone Raider one from a few years ago, not sure why. It needs another airing anyway, as it's comedy gold.
  19. I'm surprised, I didnt have you down as the type to spend time in a student union. Which one do you favour?
