I'm sure there is something on here for everyone, even the wife and kids. If your anything like me and dont know what to ask for, for xmas then this may help you out. I've P.M'd Steve Bullman and if he gets time may email the company and try and sort some Arbtalk discount deal thing (like with the headcams). Some really good products. Better than Topman. haha heres a link to my favourite t-shirt so far. Type in Logging, or Chainsaw, or Arborist etc etc in the search bar for more goods. Eat, Sleep, Climb Dark T-Shirt - CafePress United Kingdom

  14. What motivates YOU????
  15. Good question, what is my motivation. I dont have any. I quit.
  16. Husky 181. Not sure what year but it has a chain brake made out of about 8mm round steel. Also regularly run a Sachs Dolmar with a 12" bar for messing down at yard.
  17. As far as I'm aware, Pete was putting the sheets on inside, and he told me about silicone inside the joints when I was round there last.
  18. Stevie. There is no right or wrong way of bringing up children. There are countless guidelines and theories etc. But, every child is different. Every family unit is different. Think about your boys. Are they putting weight on, sleeping at night and laughing / smiling during the day???? I'd hazard a guess that the answer is YES. I feel I know you fairly well and believe me when I say I respect your outlook on life, your attitude towards things and your thoughtfulness. I would take advice on parenting from you any day (and i have an 8 year old lad). Keep doing what your doing. If you feel strongly that you havent done enough with them that day, then you probably havent. Hence the "feeling". Swimming is a good life skill to have, I could get by in an emergency but Im no olympic contender. I learnt how to swim at school. Not from my dad. He was one of those "chuck him in and see how he gets on types". The only time you should be worried is if the lad was standing by the front door waiting for you desperate to do something, but you were too busy elsewhere. The things you are obviously teaching him are strong minded, hard working attitude, which WILL enable him to go far. Im sure.
  19. Pete, Have any of your neighbours complained about you opening up an unlicensed welding / fabricating company in your front drive yet??? haha
  20. Z cars are based about 500 yards from my gaff and owned by my mates dad.
  21. Stanley 1.9 litre is the only flask for me. Lifetime guarantee. around £30.
  22. Yeah mine is the A6 Avant special edition estate, with the 2.8 V6 lump. She may be thirsty but I also have the premium BOSE sound system which makes my eyes vibrate so I cant see the on board computer telling me that I'm gett 18 MPG. Fairly interested in a Disco or Forester. How about Shoguns????
  23. Frank

    forks

Yeah, beat fork are best. Bout 12 tines and rounded ends. Great for shovelling chip.
  24. mmmmmmmm Chipper or Tipper??? Tempted.
  25. I'm looking at buying a new vehicle, one that I can select 4 wheel drive in. One that will be versatile enough to use for tree work but also be able to put 2 car seats in the back for my boys. I need a tow bar for chipper / trailer. I'm gonna be looking at winches for the front. I want fairly decent fuel economy, so up to a 2.5 turbo diesel will be plenty. I want subtle sign writing rather than a whole hog commercial affair. Need 4/5 seats but don't mind having boot space or pick up bed. What do you guys reckon????????? Much obliged. Oh yeah and I'm gonna be selling my beloved Audi A6 Avant SE 2.8 V6 to fund this venture so it has to also make me smile.
