  1. are the prong type readers supposed to be "inserted" into a drilled hole???? (haha i said "inserted")
  2. Turning up when you say, doing a job to a good standard, leaving site tidy, dressing smart, not swearing, fancy invoices etc etc make you professional, they dont however make you an expert or specialist. Getting paid a wage for playing football makes you a professional, it doesnt make you Christiano Ronaldo.
  3. haha, it was a joke mate, I know its insured, just cant be arsed to hunt the camera and then upload photos etc. Will sort it soon.
  4. I think 8000+ posts on here arent gonna help, no wonder your fan is foooked. haha

You wouldnt decide you were gona be a rugby player and start in the challenge cup final would ya. haha
  11. Seriously though, when I upgraded my "system" it was all about the name, so when i found a UK company called Naim, that no-one round here had heard of I had to try em. Since then i have uprgraded again through Naim Audio and really, really rate their stuff. I love everything bout it. The plain black moody looks with the simple green lights just oooze quality, then when you turn it on. OH MY GOD. Denon, Bose mmmm fisherprice stereos mate. haha (that was a joke)
  12. Just buy Naim audio everything and have done with it.

    Too old?

I have always thought that 2-3 years should be done on the ground , learning the ropes as it were before getting into a harness. Just me???
  14. Mine was £189.00. 6ft. Multi coloured L.E.D's. bought bout 6 years ago from Hammonds I think?? Still looks Fresh. Yeehaa
  15. you guys go to far too much trouble for bonfire night. haha
  16. Get a sack barrow you lazy gits.
  17. Exactly. That was what I meant when I said "theres no point having an xbox at 8 yrs old with no-one to play it with". My lad has friends but how "cool" is it that Daddy can whoop his ass on every game he has got. Those moments are precious. I DO NOT DO THIS JOB ONLY FOR THE MONEY. If it was only about the money then I would have done something alot less manual. For me it is everything about this industry, the equipment, the freedom, the climbing, the adrenalin, the exhilaration, the planting new life, the managing old, the legacy we leave behind, the customers, the different places every day, the banter, the stress, the cuts, the bruises, that chingy noise alloy karabiners make, just everything. I will be involved with trees till the day I die in whatever form I can be. My comments about driving round in the range rover were more out of jest, but I do like the idea of being like "Gord" from Heli-loggers, bidding for work but still able to get "on site" and show em how its done from time to time. I do believe in my own abilities to progress my company, I'm sure Mr Bartlett started somewhere.
  18. HEY, Late tewnties actually. haha I believe Naim to be the BEST because I own NAIM and I'm biased. haha Oh and heres an extract from their website "CD555 CD player First shown and demonstrated at The Hi-fi and Home Entertainment Show, Heathrow 23rd-25th September 2005, Naim's current reference CD player, the CD555 with 555PS delivers the ultimate musical performance from a CD. The CD555 makes no attempt to play DVDs, DVD-As or SACDs. It doesn't have a digital output. Nor does it have a variable output. The CD555 simply plays CDs and at that it excels. We are confident that is the best CD player ever." I believe everything I read haha:thumbup:
