  3. Correct, only whats over road, just those couple of big limbs you can make out in the picture, we are slowly losing this tree, did same job about 2 years ago. Think within another 5 years it will be a monolith.
  4. I would expect no less mate.
  5. Yeah, sorry mate, I wasnt asking for opinions as to wether I should climb them or not, I was merely interested in others thoughts on structural integrity etc etc. They will be getting felled from the deck towards the lawn.
  6. got this badboy to deadwood next week, woohoo. Nice of the estate to put the new fence up then decide to do the tree work.
  7. Yeah, my assessment was they would be fine to climb, but certainly no rigging. Not 100% sure of integrity, so not worth risking shifting weight by taking limbs off, so throw line up and bang the winch on. Getting felled next week. Was just interested in others thoughts / experiences with fire damaged trees. How much damage would cause timber to harden and how much would cause it to go brittle?? etc etc. I'd say there was surely less than 30% sound wood holding these up.
  8. Went to look at these lovely elongated ash trees yesterday. Fire damaged. Need to come out. Would you even think about climbing them???
  9. Bloomin heck Deano, topping trees, next you will be getting a crane in to make life easier for yourself. haha
  10. Oh, thought it might be railway related, cheers my dears.

  14. Clips were cool. Music was Overdramatic. Simples.
  15. Loads of things to pic at, but why bother. Although I will say I hate seeing people wear "hoodies" feeding a chipper (from the front), SnagTastic. haha
  16. Check any small print in your insurance to make sure that your premises to store equipment dont have to be 90% brick or anything, you sometimes find little clauses like this.

  23. I would have thought so, but as geeky as I am, I'm not a proper nerd. Is it a bowline???
  24. Or is it that all trees in hull seem to have nasties inside them??? Or is it that I am trying to be clever by decreasing downtime sharpening chains and increasing profitability??? Or is it that the chain has almost gold looking tips which is a little bit more bling???
