  1. Woodpicker did. As I said, it grips nicely but doesnt advance as easy so I would far prefer it on a lanyard. Love messing with knots.
  2. Anyone else on here running Picco Duro 3/8" on the MS200t?? Got a loop of it today but was far too wet to be cutting trees, wondered what the claimed "4 times longer lasting" was like in the real world??? Roughly Twice the price but if it lasts four times as long that makes it half the price of picco micro comfort. (I think) Gonna seriously miss tickling it up though as I'm told the grinding disc for it is around the 300 squid mark?
  3. Get a new 441 C-M , Slightly more expensive but "self tuning engine"?????? woohaa
  4. yeah your right, its a distel tyed wrong then haha, I have done the same thing and it works as a friction hitch quite well, grabs nicely but doesnt "break" like a v.t, making it slightly harder to advance. Would prefer it on a lanyard rather than main line.
  5. Distel??
  6. just quote the last video i just put up and you will see what I have typed.
  7. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glkYEmtZl9c&feature=related]YouTube - Stihl Timbersports Series[/ame]
  8. if you just copy the url it only puts up a link????
  9. literally like this, without the spaces [ u r l ] insert url here [ / u r l ]
  10. put a square bracket like this [ then type url then put an opposite square bracket like this ] then insert your url, then put this [/url] works every time
  11. haha, or maybe you didnt.
  12. Half way through that I bet you were thinking "Oh christ this better fall over or I'm gonna have to try and edit the video, or look a fool". Would have seriously raised the bar if you just ran up and Bruce Lee kicked it.
  13. No dealer should be advertising stihl products online.
  14. Its all to do with customer service,Stihl are very proud of their products and their service, buy from your local dealer, they can give you the personal touch, advice / after sales service etc etc. Get to know your local dealer and spend some money and you should usualy get good prices too.
  15. Yeah I know Dean, i am entitled to any phone I want pretty much, so do I go for something that appears rugged with some fancy stuff or all singing, dancing touch screen jobby????
  16. Thats what I'm saying, dont leave it all in the truck, place it somewhere obvious. I'm sure there is a 3 digit emergency number that uses any available network??? Cant think what it is now.
  17. Haha Random, I am due an upgrade in 2 weeks aswell. For the last month I have had tunnel vision, Iphone, Iphone, Iphone. However, I too dismantle phones with great regularity. I normally end my contract with some crappy £20 pay as you go phone with my sim card in it. What to do????
  18. If you filled in your profile thingy so it said where you were from you may be surprised. Unless you live on an nearly uninhibited island.
  19. If you have a youtube account, they shouldve given you an email address that you just send an mms to direct from your phone and it will appear on youtube straight away. Tree dominoes are amazing. Especially zig zag effects, when the tops only just brush the next tree.
  20. This would be a really easy habit to get into and a really useful one, would stop a lot of stress.
  21. How hard is it or would it be to put all that (address, RA, Method statement, blah blah blah) in a waterproof folder slap bang next to the first aid kit and a fully charged (and credited) mobile phone in a convienient spot on the work site, easily accessible to any members of the work team????? The answer is: about as much work as it is to decide where to put your flask to pour yourself a cup of tea.
  22. Frank

  23. absolutley love it. ever since this thread started I have had a whole new outlook on work, always looking for the quick hit now, slip the fence panel out, etc etc. might sell my harnesses on ebay. haha
