Kev you may find advances in climbing equiptment responsible not loler. Your talking about guys that climbed on rope i would not tow a car with. The equiptment back then was shite.

The real truth is there is no guaranteed proof of the statistics since alot of injurys do go unreported. The only injurys which get reported are ones where the climber cannot walk away. Actual statistics of accidents fact would be very helpful in converting the unconvertable law or not. For instance what equiptment was used what went wrong and why but this should be free information availible from loler inspectors u want every one to be loler asking and changing legislation is never enough show people real evidence of why and you will find a huge increase in loler.

Not really spot on is it im sure dealers risk their lives to hmmmm. Im pretty sure most tree companies are lowering prices. So based on what has been said as soon as the euro goes back down we can expect these increases you dealers have made to be completly removed.

This is the point mate i wanna find out how many of us feel like this. Dealers should be listening the their customers or you might one day find they have gone elsewhere. Should you not look for the best prices now more then ever. Maybe that would be a great addition to the forum a best price page of all the latest gear High tech boot yeah ok why do they fall to bits from 6-12 months

I can think of better ways to waste money. Guess you been getting pestered by the many companys selling it. If i were you i would save 20% of my income for such a thing these insurances can be total shite should you need to claim.

What next a timer to time how long your in the tree must not exceed 2 hours this is just another joke in the long line of legislation which does nothing more then make money for government through more tax and loler inspectors earn a wage. How many accident have there been since loler if you do your research you will find no identifiable honest decrease through loler. Its another speed cameras save life jobby. I have no facts on loler so abuse me as you please but untill hse inspect every job i will only do when forced. I have never had an accident that is down to me knowing when to throw my gear out.

Well you boys are matey with most the common dealers so your comments are at best predictable. The point was not if the dealer is making a profit they clearly are. The point is do people think the quality does not match the price....................

Im sure it has been covered but clearly not enough how are these companies allowed to make such increases the euro yeah i here that big excuse alot. Should there not be a authority which protects consumers from rip off charges like like. My point is i want the best protection availible and now its seams every week they get more expensive yet the quality is going down. How many of you brought stretch airs any problems with the stitching i know i have £200 you expect the best and you just not getting it. Aquafell expert had two pairs tho i must admit lavro were superb in fixing the problem. I just wanted to know how many of you feel pisse'd off with high prices and low quality.:scared1:

Is no one else annoyed at the rob you blind price of the haix extreme boots. inc vat £235. Was £175 Reason for increase - greed We are being taken the mick out of now days for ppe my stretch airs are falling part so do my boots now for them £435 does that not strike people as a rip off Rant over.

People only tend to say its easy after they pass. When i was doing the course everyone looked sheepish haha me to cos you dont know what to expect first time round doing the units. You will only fail if you cock something up and he sees ya lol.

Trying to start up right now are you serious ?. The arb market is going to be very crap for quiet some time a new start has very little chance since established companies are now going cut throat.

Its easy to pass but easy to fail as well. Keep thumbs round the handle make sure your head is always out of line of kickback zone. Dont stand behind the trees or put your feet behind them. Take your time, keep visor down so easy to forget. Its a straight forward course really good fun you will learn useful stuff and revise them sheets revise revise revise and you will fly through. Good luck enjoy.

Well if there offering take it i mean who can be choosey right now work is very thin so paying for it is very hard. I paid for all my ones but feel i should be entitled to help if lazy doll dossers get them paid for by me you and every tax payer.

The problem is say 6months to a year later the customer rings up blaming your work for causing foundation damage. How can you prove otherwise were do you legally stand.

charge what you feel a job is worth. Dont see how cheap you can do it for but how much its worth doing it. If you hurt your self and cant work ever again £1050 is peanuts too many undercutters ruining our biz.

This forum does well because content is usefull. Dont advertise crap that has little to do with arb just cos they pay. Remember with out users a forum is buggered so keep users happy by keeping content up to date and relevant as well as user friendly the current advertisments are helpfull but to many can annoy people. Keep it the way it is just allow a scroll feature on the right hand bar so you can have more advertisers. Dont plaster adverts in every nook and cranny

As an end user i have stopped all purchases untill i absolutly need them normally i would buy all the time. So as end users we should stop wasting our money the tools are way over priced and the good old stihls are getting **** i loose count of how many top handels are being repaired with carb problems. If the pound and euro level should we not pay euro prices not uk over inflated prices. I hate to think what a schliesing will cost soon.
