  1. He didn't look very comfortable on those spikes!!!! Why snap cut it instead of gob it out? Could've gone anywhere...
  2. I can't remember which one it was, but one said "It can't be that hard if these guys are doing it" About 5 seconds later I got told off by the Mrs for throwing slipper at the telly:blushing:
  3. That was the sole reason. You just don't want the responsibility. One old dear offered to leave her house open for us. We politlely declined. She gave us a puzzled look and asked "What if you need the loo?" As we're standing in an enormous garden, on the edge of a wood. My mate told her that we'll just go home if we need to!!
  4. Hiya Pete. I'm not knocking this mate, I'm genuinely interested. But isn't the heat of the dishwasher liable to weaken the helmet eventually? Couldn't you just wipe it down instead of dish washing it?
  5. Could've been worse, I'm suprised the pikey's didn't sue cause they got sawdust in their eyes!!!!
  6. http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml06/06063.html :blushing:My bad. I didn't look at the dates.....:blushing:
  7. Is this the same little saw that has fuel and oil caps on the front next to dog teeth. Correct me if I'm wrong, (I could well be!!!) but didn't the US market have to do a product recall?? Something to do with petrol leaks and ignition/fire risks.. I'll have a look and see if I can find a link...
  8. Don't know if anyone's posted this before, my mate sent it to me. If this was me, I think I'd ask to have my face blurred!!!!!
  9. Thats a beauty!!! Almost makes the landing worth while!!!!
  10. I got a feeling that this forum is going to slightly differ in opinion about how much that job is worth!!!! What did they expect £40???
  11. Too bad. Shame when they think they know best... More money than sense!!!
  12. BrendanV, Where were the reasons for taking it down?
  13. So I'm plumbing for about 200yrs old. 1798 to be precise David Do you not want to guess the month??
  14. "Nothing suspicious about his death" It must be common for blokes to play with chainsaws, indoors, on their own. What the hell was he doing?!?
  15. So what did you catch then Dean??
  16. Thats brilliant!! But what the hell did you type into Youtube!!!!!
  17. I think that people are only gonna get pissed off if it goes on for more than a few days. But most people are alright if you smile and talk politely to em. I guess it really just depends on what the neighbours are like at the end of the day!!!
  18. Should be ok mate. Good luck to you!!!
  19. Simple, Go to Tesco, stock up on the 2 for 1 deals. Crack the job out safe in the knowledge that there are a few crates of beer at home should you need to go into hiding for a while!!!
  20. Ha ha!! Fair point!!! As someone else has said, better to get everything clear on the ground first, but, 9 times out of 10, you shout heads and some Numpet will freeze like a rabbit in the headlights and slowly raise their heads!!! As a rule, you want everyone who is on the ground to took up when they hear the saw cutting, then you know somethings coming..... Job's a good-un.
  21. Always "Below" if you're working and yell "Heads" most people just look up.....
  22. Give it a go mate!! I'm sure there are more than a few people that will have an opinion on it!!!
