  2. I saw some students walking round on friday in Chainsaw Trousers, Wolly Stihl hats and College Sweatshirts with Logos on!!! All I could do was shake my head!!! I was wearing a t-shirt and sweating my conkers off!!!!

What size is the tree? How big is big?? If you aren't happy about doing something, let the boss know!! He might call you a girl at the time, but He'll swear a lot more if you get up there and something goes wrong because you're flustered!! Tell him that you want the 020 as well!!! Just my opinion though!! Good luck mate, Hope it all goes to plan!!!
  17. I shall be going on Friday, I hope its the best day. This will be my 1st APF.
  18. It's handy to get the point across if you ever need to speak to someone about trees etc that doesn't speak you language. Thats what we were told when I was a student anyway. I always thought that if I was in a foriegn country and NEEDED to converse with the locals, it probably wouldn't be about trees...

  23. Definatley!! If its work experience, I would recommend having as many photos taken of you doing work to back up your report. Colleges love that!!
  24. When you walk round with the Lecturer, take Camera phone pictures of the trees and change the names straight away. Then you can have a look on the train or whatever and you be suprised how much easier it is to remember them:001_smile:
