Don't get a chainsaw jacket. Far too hot and restrictive. Get a decent waterproof/showerproof jacket like the Stein or Hi-flex jacket. You'll find that unless its sub zero temps you'll take it off anyway...

I'd be doing it with a heavy heart, but I would be giving him his marching orders I'm afraid. Things like this tend to escalate IME, if he's nicked one thing, he won't have a problem nicking again. As Andy said, you can't really class him as a mate if he nicks stuff. (Especially YOUR stuff). That's my take on it mate.

Very true mate, And the newspapers don't run stories about people that go home at the end of the day. I think I'd rather not make "training" videos and still be able to walk....

I did something similar to that!! I got told to go and help move a lorry stuck in a field, so hop in the biggest tractor availiable and shoot over in high ratio 6th gear. Hop out after putting it in nueteral, clip the chain on to the back hitch and the lorry, hop back in to the cab, stick it in gear and shoot off, (still in high ratio) closely followed by his towing point, now on the end of my chain. Lorry was about 2 weeks old. All I could think to say was "That wasn't made very well eh?":lol: He wasn't impressed

Pay the 15 quid and stop being tight!!! You'll spend nearly the same amount driving around and cutting bits from other things!! haha!!
