  1. I'm won't see the grinder until Tues to take a photo. It wasn't changed by much, but just enough to stop the belts moving to the edge.
  2. I approached Arborisk for a quote this year. They told me they have stopped doing new for old on all risk tool policy. Just market value. Stayed with Trust Insurance.
  3. No, just the idlers. Mine was doing this regularly and Danequip took the mount off for the idler and welded it back on sloping back slightly. Not had a problem since.
  4. Have you got the pulleys with the lip on the outer edge to stop the pulleys slipping off? If you run the machine without the guard on you'll see the belts working their way to the edge. Re-aligning the pulley can help.
  5. Is this the small hydrostatic drive belt?
  6. Went to a job just before Christmas and one of the trees was close to some lv power lines. Would of done it in the past, but after a local tree surgeon losing his life recently by electrocution, thought twice about doing it. Told the client they need to contact the electricity board to get their advice. Shut down been arranged for 23rd Jan. Not aware of any charge.
  7. Have you seen this? https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/landrover-tipper-200tdi/253334528193?_mwBanner=1
  8. Oh right. That would have been a bit of a downer coming all the way to Honeys to find they're shut [emoji15][emoji23]
  9. I think thats just a Google search thing that pulls up general opening times. Are you local then? Don't know why, but thought you were based in Ireland.
  10. Says here, closed until 2nd Jan.
  11. I've only had it a couple of months. I'll get in touch with the supplier. Cheers
  12. Ok Cheers Ste. So just need to pull harder then?
  13. As above, I can't pull out the extension. The clamp is loose and the inner shaft rotates slightly but can't pull it out. Anyone else had this issue before I send it back? Cheers...Al.
  14. And here he is hard at work with his Lucas mill
  15. Havent had a chance to investigate further Mark. It works well enough free swinging at the moment.
  16. Ok thanks. Do all grapples have a heel boom or do some not? What have you guys got?
  17. Do all the grapples have a bracket underneath to wedge a long log under or only certain makes?
  18. I'll have a look tomorrow. Bit warm to have a look at the moment....
  19. I'm pretty sure it's ceramic glass that is in there. Just wondering if there is a better type.
  20. I'd have to check the measurements. Thickness of current glass is 4mm which sits in a channel at the top and bottom. Initial problem was it being too tight so cracked the glass a couple of times. Manufacturer came over from Hungary (I think) to see the problem and take measurements, then organised the repair. Are the double glazed sheets thinner the 4mm?
  21. We have a wood burner boiler stove that does 16kw to hearing and water and 4kw to the room. We seem to be getting more heat to the room now after having to replace the glass due to a manufacturing fault. Are there different types of heat reflective glass, some better than others? It's a fairly large Woodfire inset stove and the glass size is 640x480mm. Cheers...Al
