    4X4 Advice??

Tried new navara didn't like its poor service record always needing things fixed and even the saleman admitted he woudn't buy one . The L200 was like sitting in the north sea and with the coil spring option fitted it was very juddery even on smooth roads. The ford's and mazda's are basically the same. I ended up buying a hilux but the choice is yours as it is a personal as what i like you probably wouldn't . Happy hunting but get one home for a 2+day trial then buy what suits you woudn't change my 110 though..
  2. You could also install automatic door shutter's triggered by movement to keep them locked in then you could ?. But to be honest i saw i guy get into one of that type of containers armed only with a hammer very easily and it had heavy duty locks. If there's a will there's a way.
  3. The site store one is ok but heavy empty but you have to remember to grease the lock's well or you will have to get the gas/grinder out.
  4. No snow here.
  5. If a tracked chipper need's to be registered what about mini diggers ?. I use shell fuel on account as i have a habit of losing the receipt.
  6. Are you jap lovers jealous now ?LOL
  7. Hae a happy new eer loons an quines
  8. I knew a rep a few years ago that said you could drink roundup as it was safe to do so and he did!!. But i don't advocate anyone doing that including myself i would rather have a straight Hine brandy as i think thats a lot safer.
  9. As skyhuck says is the trailer plate you go by,that is why a lot of 3500 kg ifors etc are downplated to 2000 kg.
  10. You can run any agri tractor with red diesel within a certain radius provided you are using the tractor for agriculural use only. You can not use it for contacting work unless you wash out the tank and refill with white diesel and you should have airbrakes fitted. This also applies if you use a trailer etc that is sign writen with the name of a none agricultrural company.
  11. Sorry should have read the post properly!!.
  12. Some people are doing it for free, just for the wood.
  13. Agri Farm tractors are classed different, stupid i know!!. There is word that that will change though.
  14. But you wont have an option if you lose it or move house like i did:ohmy:
  15. I wouldn't attemp going through this test without a trainer. For a start they can give you tips to do things the easy way therefore increasing your chances of passing first time. I think it cost me in the region of £500.00 incl test for a two day course to put someone through and they passed with no problems and they had never pulled a trailer before.

  21. Just remember to use the proper material if you are working anywhere where there is a risk of a watercourse if you dont you MIGHT have a huge bill. Contact the manufacturer of roundup who will issue you with stat sheets as there is 3 different types.
