  1. mybox is defferent from yours. dose yours mount on the ring of bolts round the imput shaft? mine is just 2 M14 bolts in the side so easy to bolt down i dont know for sure but id think it will be about 5' from the front axle to the ends of the lift arms. shorter the better tho. you'd be better making it to fit Catagory 2 mounts
  2. theres a place in irvine did the last set i did about a year ago. think it was called The saw centre. mind it was a strange wee place lol
  3. we can all come and pee on it so you can sell them for more
  4. Been working on an outline for the overall interface / information for the customers, etc. OK, back to U900 and chippers! -By the way, why did you sell your setup. I recall it now, ..it was a beast of a setup. If I'm not mistaken, You were looking at running chippers of the front and rear, right? ACUF who's set up do you mean? heres my u900 with winch on the front 3pl trailer and crane on the back. not had a chance to try the chipper on the front of it yet. its fairly well loaded already. i'v a 6" TP that i used to use before i got the timberwolf that im trying to sell along with my big mog
  5. over run only helps on the over run. would these slipping clutch things be better for the shocks of a chipper?
  6. sorry i never got that part that makes sence to swap it im sure youl can do it in an hour or so. theres 4 bolts on the block (to chassie) and another 4 on the drive shaft just undo it at the gearbox and pull the hole shaft out. do you need to split the UJ joint to get the new block on? oh safer to some form of overload protection
  7. your needing to get the block changed from a 6 spine 1"3/4 to a 6 spline 1"3/8 to get your reversing box in closer to the mog
  8. heres a picture of mine its not quite finnished yet. iv got the box right at the front, this helps to bring the shaft closer to the center as you know the pto shaft on the mogs come out at one side :001_smile :
  9. try these guys for your reversing box altho im sure a c price will supplie them too. http://www.unimogs.co.uk/accessorydetail.asp?t=REVERSING GEARBOX&s=9

just get a 25. saves your back from having to bend down altho seriously id get a 25" bar on that and look at getting a smaller second saw for sneddin up, something like a 181. always handy to hav a second saw if you jam yours
  15. thatl keep you bizy for a week, how much did that load weight
  16. iv a timber wolf 300pto. thats a 12" machine for sale. 4k plus v. do you think your 1100 will handle a chipper that weighs more than a tonne? you might need to aim for a 8" chipper if you interested in mine or shreks chippers then pop up as were only a stones throw apart
  17. as far as im aware you dont need OL for them and i tend to work within 10 miles of my house. am i right in thinking you dont need an OL for a 3.5 but you do for a 7.5?
  18. yes i tow it behind my u900. yes its very handy make the bodys you need to suit your jobs. iv even got a crane mounted on the front of one of my bodys for big bits. the gear i have is Linktip 5 i think. but wither youl can make it handy for you depends on how you work thinks
  19. is this the sorta thing your thinking of? i know this is a trailer and your thinking of a pickup/lorry. i wouldnt go for anything less than a 7.5 tonner as the smaller the body the steeper the angle when loading
  20. Depends on how big your barrow is and how big your bags are
