  3. u1300 mog but not the u100 mog and get a mog with all the bits already on. it just gives you more options on the job. ie carry the posts and work the post driver in the one pass
  4. the wind screen to bulk head mounts and the bonnet hinges are series 2A its just had a plastic S3 grill screwed on it rather than the grill you could use to make chips:drool:
  5. i had a wee petrol borer. only had a 6" ogar tho but i found it usless no faster than a good heavy spade, always jammed on stones roots etc and tried to fling both of you's round, by the time youd taken the oger out the ground half the soil had fallen back in the hole and the soil still needed to be shoveled up. also in gardens, road sides or just genarly where you need to put fences up you can never be certen that your not going to hit cables or pipes etc. id say youd be better with a power pack and breaker to get old concreate out altho youl know your own job better and wither itl work for you
  6. thanks Dave thats about 20,000 to 25,000 miles i think. so roughly works out around 10 - 14 p/mile just as well were running specialised machines that make the job so much faster and easyer
  7. Dave have you any ruff idea of how many miles your getting out a set?
  8. called mcconnechys today about some michelin XM47s lol there £595 + v each but even the cheap tires they have are £380 so id probibly just go with the michelins. im sure there worth the extra money. need it sort out 2 rims first. have any of you guys got any spare 11x20s lieing around?
  9. could the flat battery affect the stress control? when i had problems with the stress control sencer on my TW theirs a bit you can check the voltage produced by the sencer. and theres a way to bypass the sencer also. but i cant remember how good luck

  11. Tom when i first got the mog it had those on the front. seamed an ok tire for road use. did get stuck a few times tho. i think itl probibly be one a MPT type patern that i go for. has anyone any idea how many miles youd get out a set of tractor v treads only doing road work?
  12. my u900 is badly needing a new set of tires. has anyone got any sugestions as to whats good and bad. it dose a lot of towing / road work and the odd job on the soft stuff. i had wondered about tractor treads but dont want to spend £300 each tyre for them not to last long had also wondered if this type wonld last longer Photos
