  1. Yes 20mm stainless, was going to use 6 but 4 was steady anough and started with 3 shelves stepped to depth but top needed to be lower to clear the pictures so 2 looked better.
  2. Good for a 200tdi not as good as a td5 not sure what the new 2.4 will be like but I'd bet it'd be good. Just gives a deeper growl with only 1 mid box and being 3.5" bore over 2.75" standard.
  3. Minimalistic rustic chunky is what I was asked for and I hope I delivered. Oak and stainless m20 threaded bar and nuts, simple.
  4. Bit of crafty work this afternoon after a spot of pricing. Minimalistic rustic chunky is what they wanted and i think that's what I gave them?
  5. Drive past that place regularly and have to look the other way! Got a custom twisted stainless exhaust on my 130 that sounds good and let's her breath better but could never afford to go the whole hog, Charles who owns it is a cracking bloke to deal with and really knows his stuff!
  6. What I'd really like is something like this, the mog not the mewp. 1 day eh.
  7. Cool, must save so much time on a standard setup being all integral. Alex and his team at acprice have done themselves proud producing such a well thought out machine for you.
  8. I'm taking it you and your wife have sorted your differences and back on good terms, looking a cracking place to stop Chris, very plush!
  9. That was little Stephen we was talking to I think jon.. Looking good out at work Elliott. Can you drop the basket over the front and lift the legs to drive forward a bit to next working position or do you need to park it back into a cradle before it'll lift and drive?
  10. Not yet lads, still under 13stone but getting to that age and using more machines to make life easier on the body so just goto watch it ;-)
  11. Yeh, I need to be careful or I'm going to hav to follow your lead and start eating healthy - after Christmas.... Bens doing good, really fitting in well, works hard and learns quick, hope to get him on a climbing and aerial rescue course early next year. At which point I'm really going to have to watch what I eat ;-)
  12. That's Ben having his 1st go with a grinder that didn't required fighting with, decided I'd let him have a go while I backfilled in a few holes already ground out as I was freezing stood still twiddling switches. At 1 point yesterday I did contemplate sitting in the landy with the heater on to keep warm but then remembered I'd probably be colder with the crap heater in it :what:
  13. Back out with the beasty grinder today, this thing just can clear stumps quickly, last stump of the day was a redwood I'd cut down a few months back. From engaging the head to switching it off again on a 28" stump as deep as machine would work too less than 7min!

  15. For the 3rd time
  16. Try adding pictures helps
  17. Felt like I was playing robot wars today obliterating stumps with this remote control beasty. 6m2 of grinding off the 1st stump and I'm so glad I didn't have to tidy up the 2nd.
  18. Re badged toro machine? Look a good bit of kit.
  19. Where abouts are you?
  20. An email saying if they are in financial difficulties so unable to settle the whole amount I'll happily take part payment and goods for the remaining value or more to secure against the remaining amount till they are in a position to settle normally irritates them anough to pay, only used this twice both times on minted customers. Normally payment within 15 days reminder on day 16, late payment reminder on day 29 stating 10% will be added if not settled within 5 working days as per T&C not had to take it further than this yet. And also offering to return there property (rakings and chip + interest) all over the driveway like ty once
  21. Good video, excellent looking machine! Nothing like having loades of outreach for reduction work. You'll be asking for a hire cost reduction for doing a machine promo video for them. Ow yeh, nice tree work to
  22. Always worth putting the link up James or are you just teasing us, hope you've been good and santa still has a gopro on his list for you ;-)
  23. Always thought the yanks did things differently but not backwards like these are!?
  24. I've seen the quality of chip from two jenz chippers and wasn't impressed by either compared to the hiziohack. The hiziohack do have a few more fines but a lot lot less oversized and slithers. So depends if the client wants quality or quantity. Like firewood tonnage is a hard 1 to work out as species and moisture content will have a lot of variation, better of by m2 of final product if your going into trailers of skips or know what your set up can produce in an hr and sell yourself on a hrly rate with an estimated x m2 per hr. Contract chipping like this is hard on a machine compared to brash site clearance stuff, possibly less blade damage as cleaner timber but definitely harder on everything ells as it's relentless on and off the stress control. Your set up would be ideal for smaller customers who fill the chip hoppers direct from chipper say 40 -60m2 rather than those who have a separate 100+ store separate so smaller but more frequent visits that makes the big machines impractical.
  25. Was just looking at the 3.2s last week and they have lower attachment points again but soft eyes as apposed to hard eyes like my treemotion. Looks a good comfortable harness, tempted when treemotion is out of date in January.
