  1. Interesting, any more pictures? Not seen one set up like that before.
  2. Interesting rook skiing at one point:thumbup: Cool video, really want to see that beastly looking chipper in action in one of your videos.
  3. Too much oil in it or could be water in the tank that starts to mix with the oil and get frothy so expand and bubble up. Check the level on the dipstick and then just say open the drane plug and see what comes out. Probably worth changing the oil and filter in it anyway.
  4. Reducing a storm damaged pop earlier this week in a blizard, customer just sent me the pictures and 1 I took looking over richmond as the snow closed in, brrrr!
  5. New 1 is good that fits on the can old green thing I had same as husky tops was pants so any1 thinking of getting 1 now good and lasting well.
  6. A while back I said the old fill partner wasn't very good so I'd got a new 1 which gets used all the time now. Now I know why I thought the old 1 was crap, it's because it was 1 of these so sorry Eddie.
  7. In the immortal words of George (of the jungle) To swing or not to swing..... SSSS WING!
  8. That's how it should be, most people know the answer just don't recognise the question being asked. You'll be fine, just enjoy.
  9. That's some facial enhancement going on lad, good work  Something so affirming taking someone who doesn't think they can do something to the point they know they can do it, looks some nice trees too.
  10. 10 min cutting with a saw and 25min sharpening the thing as redwood bark always has stupid amount of grit in it at ground level, big grinders hardly notice the extra few inch of timber especially stuff that brakes up as easily as this.
  11. That'd be easier to keep under the requested 5 min than cutting the tree would ;-)
  12. Shouldn't be too bad to get too, about an hr. Hope to be able to make it.
  13. Thinking of coming along to the Feb session to pick up some pointers that could help my business run a little smoother and what we should be aiming towards.
  14. When I used to work for a well known power line clearance company as a crew leader I let one of my crew borrow the hilux over the weekend, was expecting to find something Monday morning but was plesently surprised to find it all clean Until the windscreen started to steam up a bit to reveal 2 petite footprints on the passenger side of the windscreen.......
  15. Would this do, call Stephen and he might be able to sort you out. Binderbergerc 520 Firewood Processor Hire:
  16. He's nuts (in a good way) but good at fixing whatever comes into his workshop
  17. You wouldn't have said that a week ago when it was banging and clattering with worn bairings cracked anvil hitting the blades and slipping belts. But David olivers mechanic sharp sorted it for me and got it back to working properly again.
  18. Ah, magic. Should be passing local tractor dealer next week so might call in and see if they will test it for me.
  19. How can you find out the flow rate of the pump short of undoing the pipe and sticking it in a bucket with a stopwatch. Presure I guess the hydraulics guy will have a gizmo to read this so easy anough.
  20. I'll tell him you said that! Can't have done much chipping as derv level hardly looks like it's changed. You'll be rite on Tues just take your time and don't stress it.
  21. Well if my idea works out table should be just over knee hight so not too bad and just looked in yard and could use 1 of the sheds steel uprights and weld a bracket onto that to hang splitter off for when using it there to hold it at a nice hight.
  22. Not really that many of them around here and if it comes to that I'll just refer them to my mate who has big kit and takes all my larger timber. I just want it for my own logs, when a client wants a few doing on site from there tree and to do prop 30-40m2 of the nice easy timber of job's to help cover yard rent a bit and fill in after short day jobs.
  23. Nop that's on the hydraulics, got a feeling the revs are up a bit but with it being 2 speed should be fairly quick plus rb has quite high flow rate in 4th gear.
